Glare on Boox Go7 BnW

Apparently the black version has less glare. I have the black one at home, its a great device, i don’t feel like it has too much glare. Edited to add: the white and black Boox Go 7 have different screen top layers the white is plastic and black is glass I think. https://youtu.be/Hgr9tDI4vGQ?is=fyL7f

Anyone has a non-Kindle e-reader? Which one do you recommend?

The 2 big non-Kindle brands are Kobo and Onyx Boox. the difference being that Boox is Android-based so you can download different apps while Kobo is a closed system like Kindle. It depends on what you want out of your e-reader. I personally have a Boox Go 7" (in black/white) and I'm a big fan of it

I miss physical buttons

Boox Go 7 is just amazing. Great industrial design, feels light, screen size just right.

Do you like your Go 7? (longtime Kindle user considering the Go 7.)

Yes! I replaced my Kindle paperwhite with a Go 7 color. The Go is awesome. Just be aware that it requires customization. And don't buy it from the Onyx Boox website because if you need to return it their service is terrible. I had to return an unopened Go 7 B&W (to exchange for the color model). It

Is there a waterproof ereader with buttons and access to kindle/kindle app?

Boox go 7 meets all your requirements minus the waterproofing.

The Kobo Libra Color was SO close to being the perfect device for me, except for the fact that it only has 32GB of non expandable storage. Any alternatives?

An actual answer! The boox go 7 looks nice!

Why are B/W button devices dying out?

So there's a few solid options. The cheapest 7 inch with buttons and Carta 1300 is the Musnap Ocean, which is usually on sale. Very basic android but works well. Pen input sucks if you care but that's how it is on all of the 7 inch devices with capacitive stylus I've used. Higher end from a more rep

Buying dilemma

To make it more complicated: I'd consider a boox go 7 (the newer model, I don't remember the name). Available in white, bw and color afaik. I personally would pick a bw model for the better contrast. For children's books I'd actually buy or lent the paper versions, because I would want to keep readi

Best colored e-reader?

I have a Kobo libra colour and the Boox go 7 colour gen 2. I have a micro sd card filled with books and manga. My boox go 7 gen 2 is my absolute favourite. Since the last update bookcovers finally look better on the Boox than on the Kobo. It’s sleek and smaller and just a really nice device. Snappy,

E-Reader for Postpartum + Hand Pain

Boox Go 7 BW? It’s Android so most of those apps should work (I can’t vouch for Everand - it seems to be one that gives some people trouble on Boox devices, with no clear answers, but the overall majority of reading / library apps available on Google Play Store ought to work), and it has side button
