Bought an Onyx Boox Go 7 - battery lasts 1–2 days. Should I get a Kindle Paperwhite and gift the Onyx?
I would not but that's just me but if you feel that you prefer better battery life than the freedom to have any ebook e-commerce site or apps on your device and as well as own your own content. boox is Android based device the paperwhite has proprietary OS or Linux most likely so it's going to have

XTEINK S4 Price and Preorder Details
it's not just battery life, I have an Onyx Boox Go 7 running android and it's so sluggish, sure you can use kindle and kobo apps but it's absolutely not enjoyable, both apps are slow as fuck, glitchy, not optimized. Android is not developed for devices with 500mb ram or even 2GB ram

Lightest Booksized Android
Not true at all in most reviews I've seen the bigme b7 is faster than the boox go 7 gen1/2, they have better ghosting, and more fps on videos, load apps faster. The boox does have a better note-taking app and works with pdf files better and have a better operating system. For most people just readin

WARNING: Do NOT Buy Onyx BOOX. $500 Note Air5 C turned into a DEAD BRICK in less than a month, and support has completely GHOSTED me.
Sadly that's what we have to accept buying this tier of Chinese devices. Support is super slow and inefficient to the point it's not existent. The boox go 7 latest firmware broke my main use for the device. I reported to them exactly what's wrong which should be an easy enough fix and besides acknow

2026 ereaders?
If pfd and note taking are not a priority, then look at the bigme b7 or b7 pro. Thex have 2x the memory at 8x 128, the pro has a really fast chip bench mark is supposed to be like 7x as fast. Hopping boox comes out with a new boox go 7, but from how they updated the 10.3 I'm not sure it will be much

Is a go color 7 worth it
i have boox go colour 7 gen 2 and i don’t like it. the screen is dark bc it is coloured e-ink, and that meant having screen lights on all the time to be able to read (unless you’re under the sun). for reading manga and webtoon, it is terrible especially if it is coloured. the ghosting, lag, and disp

PocketBook Era Lite | Carta 1300
While you are partly right with your points, I'll have to disagree with others. I have the Era Lite now for 24 hours and I am thinking of returning it... the reader is still slow, yes. But what really annoys me is that even with Carta 1300 and a recessed screen the contrast is still miles behind Kob

Should I choose a Kobo Libra color or Boox Go7?
There are a lot of differences between the two e-readers. But the first question would be do you want something that is easy to use out of the box, or you willing to go to an E reader that has a lot of customization, but has a huge learning curve. The Boox is the one with the huge learning curve.

Which to choose between Kindle, Kobo and Onyx Boox Go
Kobo Libra 2. It doesn't support stylus, only the Libra Color does, but I like it. The Boox Go 7 Color Gen 2 is also a good option, but keep in mind the stylus will only work in apps that support it, but of course, being Android you have the ability to install apps in the first place. If you're just

first e-reader for anti-amazon Libby reader?
If you compare a Kobo side by side to a Kindle the screen crispness is much better. Just because two companies use the same screen tech does not mean they use that screen tech in the same way. Amazon's software does a way better job of managing the eink and how it's displayed on the screen. Especial
