Honest opinion about Boox Air 5C

I switched to boox air5c 2 weeks ago (from 2024 scribe). For me it’s an eye opener. Notes taking is completely different. It’s like unlocking a demo version to a full fleshed version. And using the google store makes the boox also more useful. Now I read comics via dc infinite and Libby, my old kind

Boox Air 5c or new Kindle Scribe Colorsoft?

More like and a bit better (IMHO) than the Scribe in writing. Although, I haven’t tried the latest one. Not sure what your “reading apps” are, but it’s the only e-ink device that realistically does anything more than just Kindle and epub formats for reading. For me, note taking was super important a

Quelle tablette choisir ?

what are your thoughts on the digital manga?

I adore my Boox Go Color 7 inch, and Boox also makes bigger color e-ink devices! I’ve rhapsodized about it here a couple times already, so I’ll keep it quick - super lightweight, good aspect ratio for manga and comics so you don’t have to zoom and scroll, physical buttons to turn pages as well as be

Short review for Boox Note Air 5C, it offers a good price compared to Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, fast refresh rate, color screen is good enough for colored pages, large screen is great for reading scientific papers, note-taking feels better than on Ipad. The downsides are the battery life

I have recently got Boox Note Air 5C. And it honestly is one of the best E-Ink Tablet at the moment. Pros It's best for writing journals, reading Manga/comics, book reading is exceptionally good. Cons Screen appears darker but thats with all the E-Ink color devices so it's not a stand alone issue wi

What is the best ereader for me?

The writing requirements point to Android being an easier choice than anything else, I’d say - look at the new Boox Go 10.3 Gen II Lumi? Or the Boox Note Air 5C if you want colour. I don’t think there’s a keyboard cover for the Go 10.3 but I gather it can be used with external keyboards (Bluetooth o

It's been twelve amazing years, my beloved PRS-T3 🫡

I don't know about Pocketbook, but bluetooth makes a huge difference in battery life for my Onyx Boox tablets, but not my Hisense Touch.

Looking for suggestion on an e-ink tablet primarily for note taking.

Probably best to post this also in the eReader forum as you'll probably get a more diverse set of options. From boox current line up its probably just the Note Air 5C but there's likely other/better options for just note taking that others will know about. In particular you'll probably want to know

Need help to choose an E-Reader.

I haven't tried Boox Go Color 7 because I already have Note Air 5c with the colour display and stylus to study. But if you want to study, it's a pretty solid device to do so, because it'll be able to open pdf files at ease. The downside would be the display size, because depending on the pdf you wan

Clarinetists who use digital sheet music: Any recommendations for larger tablets that don't cause eye strain?

I have a Onyx Boox Max Lumi. It's not in production anymore but there's a new version avalible. It's a 13.3" e-paper display, so you don't need backlight if there's enough light in the room. Very comfortable to read on, great to write on and the battery lasts for months if you only use if for sheet
