I decided I wanted a new eBook reader for reading .pdf files. I wanted it to be high-quality, with a fast refresh rate, a color display, the ability to use a stylus for note-taking and a large screen. After a long search I finally have mine it’s the Boox Note Air 5C. It works great with pdf files

Boox Note Air series just keeps getting better and better. By bar the best ereader I’ve ever used feature wise and overall build quality.

Boox Go 7 new user: Tips and Tricks?

Install a dictionary. This is the single most useful thing to do. I'm not going to lookup, say, ukase, when reading from a regular book. Now I know what it means via a single click. They integrate perfectly into Neoreader. I installed Oxford and Merriam-Webster's using this threads instructions (fyi

Boox Air 5c or new Kindle Scribe Colorsoft?

More like and a bit better (IMHO) than the Scribe in writing. Although, I haven’t tried the latest one. Not sure what your “reading apps” are, but it’s the only e-ink device that realistically does anything more than just Kindle and epub formats for reading. For me, note taking was super important a

Hoopla/Libby/Internet Archive

for magazines you'll want at least 10.3 inches - anything smaller makes two column layouts a pain. color is worth it here and the boox note air 5c handles libby magazines really well with that kaleido 3 screen. if you mostly read text heavy hoopla books, the go 10.3 works fine too but color helps wi

Ipad vs e-reader for reading and note-taking, after spending time using both devices I can safely say that the e-reader, BOOX Note Air 5C is better in almost every way. It feels more like paper, causes no eye fatigue, has far fewer distractions and offers much longer battery life

The boox XC does nit have a textured paper feel - just fyi. The Note air 5c has a better texture feel for sure. And I thought I needed or wanted the much larger screen of the XC but I'm starting to question it...I'm starting to think the Note Air 5C for my function is more practical and was just eno

Ask Me Anything About My E-Ink Tablet Collection

I don't think rM is best for a uni student because their reading software is too basic. Boox devices have a lot more config options for viewing PDFs. The Boox NoteAir5C would be a good shout (but I can't remember how it compares in price to the rMPP - I think its a bit cheaper, but its still quite e

BOOX Note Air5 C vs Amazon Kindle Scribe Colorsoft vs Apple iPAD

kinda had the same slow page turns on my old scribe. the boox air 5 c is a solid step up - the android processor makes everything snappy and the color screen is great for highlights. i've had mine for six months with no bloat issues, just keep the play store apps minimal. the note taking feels way c

Books downloaded from Anna’s to Calibre not opening?

This started happening on my kindle scribe and after a bit of googling looks like it's something amazon implemented on purpose for books that exist in their service/kindle unlimited but you got through other means. I ended up switching to a "Boox note air 5c" e reader and that's been doing great for
