What would you buy to make life easier?

I’ve loved my bose QC45 for about 5 years going now. They’re lighter than the Sony ones and I recently saw that they come in many nice colours now! I just purchaded the QC ultra earbuds because sometimes I need a break from headphones (I wear glasses so can get uncomfy if I’m already developing a mi

some bose qc ultra earbuds gen1 v gen2 graphs

Happy Friday, we're (rtings) going through validation for the Bose QC Ultra Earbuds Gen2 and figured we'd share some findings.

Frequency Response

fr looks pretty similar, customtune isn't a major factor for differences as the rig we're using is the same (bk5128)

What are your favourite noise-cancelling headphones?

Bose qc 45 over ear and sometimes (when my hair is wet or I want to move my head more freely) bose qc ultra earbuds! I have them in this dreamy blue color, moonstone, and named them my moonicorns. Wish I knew how to remove the logo from the qc 45 though.

Which earbuds have the best Noise Cancelling? (Airpods Pro 2, WF-1000XM5 or QC Ultra earbuds)?

I started wearing earbuds on noisy trains and tested AirPods Pro 2, WF1000XM5 and QC Ultra. For pure noise cancelling the WF1000XM5 impressed me most, QC Ultra is close and AirPods shine for ecosystem features. Sound wise Sony is balanced, Bose is warm and Apple is clear. I prefer the Sony fit and s

Px8 plane performance

The AirPod 2 you’re referring to have excellent ANC - My Bose QC Ultra earbuds still prove better ANC than the Apple but the Apple is an excellent earbud option however I don’t use earbuds often - only in specific cases when size is a factor.. My QuietComfort Ultras over ear is truly the best way to

Why do I love my og QC45 more than my QC Ultra? (separately, hands down love my QC Ultra earbuds)

I do like that the QC 2023 syncs with the current Bose app unlike the QC45s — I don’t actually toggle the modes much (still not a huge fan of immersive audio for some reason, I like the original non-immersive with full ANC + full wind block — same with my QC earbuds. Maybe I got used too used to it

QC ultra earbuds, 1st vs 2nd gen- is the 2nd worth the price difference?

u/happy_bluebird, if you are contemplating getting those, then it would be much recommended that you look for a brand new set -> you'll get the warranty coverage with that. With regard to pros' cons between ver 1 and ver 2, you can see the details in a similar post in the link immediately below: htt

Shokz OpenDots ONE?

Very informative, thank you! I’m also considering the Bose since I have the QC Ultra earbuds and they’re running $100 off at the moment (plush I get an extra $50 off through my credit card). I’ve had the QC for about 3 years and am familiar with some of Bose’s…eccentricities, but they’ve still serve
