Get the 128GB version; you'll regret the extra 32GB if you want to run LLM! The Bosgame is currently under €1700 in the EU: https://www.bosgamepc.com/products/bosgame-m5-ai-mini-desktop-ryzen-ai-max-395

This is a simple and effective setup for a windows machine and more powerful than the typical pi builds I usually see. Nothing too remarkable I can comment on other than it would be nice to have the mini pc and battery attached to the back of the display. Best wishes your brother has fun with his bo

Look into Ryzen Mini PCS with a decent CPU and RAM. A high end GPU isn't really needed for beamNG on low settings (runs fine on my 4800h iGPU), but better is good. The BOSGAME mini pc (https://www.amazon.com/BOSGAME-5700U-Displays-Computers-Emulator/dp/B0DF7B2MPW/) doesn't look bad for 510$. It has

Aka Strix Halo, DGX Spark, Mac Mini. Das bill

Hey! I went into a rabbit hole yesterday looking through these machines. From what I've seen there's a lot of tinkering/downsides to the platform. It can work really well overall, but there are a lot of support issues (constantly being iterated). GPT-OSS is actually going to run decently because of

I just bought the Bosgame A5 AI MAX+ 395, 96 GB LPDDR5X, for the exact same use case as yours. Its bullet fast for running Qwen3 30B locally as a coding agent

Could save a bit if they go for one of the other miniPC brands too, GMKTech and Minisforum both make a 395+ mini PC a touch cheaper, and BosGame as a riskier choice has a really solid deal on a 128GB version right now. Their website is a travesty though and deterred me from ordering.

FN60G with a 14700KF and 4090M GPU or Lenovo P3 Ultra with a A5500 GPU. Honerable mention to the GMKtec Evo X2 and Bosgame M5 for having the most powerful CPU/iGPU combination. And honerable mention to ITX builds with a 9800X3D and 5090 GPU. 2025 General Mini PC Guide

Actually there are miniPCs with 128GB + 2TB NVME which are cheaper and having full box. And 90% of them share the same PCB/design having interchangeable BIOS! (Bosgame M5, GMK X2 etc) And how you say requirement is Windows? 🤔 Linux works perfectly on the AMD 395, actually better than on Windows as h

Do not spend $3000 for 395. Ain't worth it. At this point 3xB70 or 2xR9700 are better options with a gazillion years old X399 (+1950X) or X299 (+10940X). Bosgame M5 is around $2000 these days. Got mine for €1700 two months ago.
