Well, I went and did it, just bought the Px7s3 even though I have the PX8…
That’s a remarkable deal, too, and a terrific entrance to B&W I’m sure. Enjoy!! Edit: that deal is still live for anyone interested!! Excellent choice. Never had the privilege to own the original Px8 but Im a new B&W customer with the Px8 S2. Had the chance to extensively test it against the Px3 and theres really not much in it. The main difference is the materials. The Px7 S3 are a phenomenal value at half the price, congrats!

Sennheiser momentum 4 vs Bose Quietcomfort vs Bowers and Wilkins PX7 S2e?
Ruling out ANC, on sound quality alone: Momentum 4 > B&W PX7 S2e > Bose QC Considering ANC: Bose QC > Momentum 4 ~= B&W PX7 S2e The Momentum will also have much better customization options when it comes to EQ, offering both a 5-band EQ and Sound Personalization, which is a pretty powerful little to

upgrading from PX7 S2 to PX8
What I like about the B&W is that they’re flexible: I can use them wirelessly when I’m moving around the house, and wired when I sit down to actually focus on music. It’s honestly surprising how nice they sound wired, even though they supposedly have a built-in DAC. But my PX7 S2 cost me about $110,

What’s the next step after Maxwell?
I was not as impressed with the PX8 S2; I tested both them and the PX7 S3 side by side and ended up going with the PX7 S3 instead. Very similar sound quality, but the PX8 S2 takes a major hit to ANC and transparency performance. I’ve actually discussed this on the B&W sub a few times. The PX8 S2 is

I need an intervention. I've bought these the past 3 months!
I got the Px7 s2 at Costco for $149.97 when they were being discontinued. Some people even managed to get them for $99.97!! At that price no matter how great the Px8 are, there's no way I can suggest you get the Px8 over them. That opportunity is over since Costco pulled all their B&W stock from sto

Bose QC have terrible noise cancellation
Bose has always had the pretty much the best noise cancelation performance with around ear headphones, especially the QC Ultras 1st gen and 2nd gen. The 2nd gen makes ANC even better by bringing down the level of "noise cancelling hiss" to near zero. Something is wrong with your hearing, the way the

Torn on a decision, help lmao
If you care about sound quality and build quality, get the b&w px7 s2 - can get em for $100 factory recertified from Woot, and they are significantly better than everything on your list in those regards. If you care more about ANC, Sony or Bose. But you'll probably never find a better value than tha

Best wireless headphones worth buying in 2026? (comfort + sound)
Man....when woot had the B&W PX7 S2 for $99...that was it. I've been in hifi and all that for 30 years and those for $99 are chefs kiss.
