Excellent choice. Never had the privilege to own the original Px8 but Im a new B&W customer with the Px8 S2. Had the chance to extensively test it against the Px3 and theres really not much in it. The main difference is the materials. The Px7 S3 are a phenomenal value at half the price, congrats!

I recently got the b&w px7 s2 and still have my APM. I prefer the features of the AirPods…the pass thru audio mostly. But the sound quality of music I listen to on the B&W is so superior. But I agree with a comment above if you can swing it try out both for a week!

What I like about the B&W is that they’re flexible: I can use them wirelessly when I’m moving around the house, and wired when I sit down to actually focus on music. It’s honestly surprising how nice they sound wired, even though they supposedly have a built-in DAC. But my PX7 S2 cost me about $110,
