The Dual Boiler vs The Oracle Touch for the same price?

Oracle touch is a bit more complicated - ie more parts that is more likely to fail. Saying so, it is a fantastic machine if you like something semi-automatic. I have the Oracle. So much easier as I have young kids. The upper end coffee machines Breville uses baratza grinder, ie it is better than you

Feedback wanted

Came from a Breville Oracle touch - which is a BDB with a fancy interface for the most part. I've owned many machines from lever to superautos over the last ~30 years. No regrets except maybe where I bought it - I'd suggest Clive based on feedback/comments. The steam works just fine for me, it might

Breville Oracle Jet

Well....I took the plunge yesterday. Jumped on the Jet train. I was looking at this, Jura's, and the Oracle Dual Boiler. Ultimately, I decided to do something I dont always do, and make the budget conscious decision. It's too early for a complete review. But its slightly smaller than the Oracle Touc

When is it Worth Buying an Espresso Machine - Ever?

If you drink a latte running 6 a day for 5 days out of the week you're burning though 30 a week plus tips. That's 120 a month That's 1440 a year. My breville oracle touch was used and abused. I got it and fixed it up for 600. I drink a latte or two a day and have had it for over 3 years now. So with

Breville Oracle Touch - loud noises when not powered on then nothing and not heating.

FYI - I'm going through a similar issue with an Oracle Touch. In looking at your picture, you have steam leaks. If those haven't been addressed, you'll most likely be replacing the triac board again in the near future. From what I've found, the most common source of the leaks are the steam probes. T

How to create silkymilk?

Its my first Move machine. I had Breville Oracle Touch before that. It seems right at the end I am getting typical foam for cuppocihino but no silky milk for art.

Oracle touch vs. Oracle jet at same price point?

I have both in separate houses. I’ve been at one house for 8 months and came back to the Touch and had forgotten about how it has to heat up before using. For 2-4 mins at most, but experiencing the jet and not having to wait, is making me want to go and buy a second Jet for here and sell the Touch.

Breville Oracle Touch [BES990XL] overheating after temperature sensor replacement – steam from group head and boiling water

The Oracle Touch, as well as the Oracle and Dual Boiler (not Oracle) have an issue with leaking steam probes. That steam then shorts out the triac board on the top of the machine, causing all kinds of seemingly random issues. One such issue is the machine staying warm when the switch is off. If the

Breville Oracle Touch Loud Noise

Where haven’t you been able to order from, Breville? I have the BES990 is there service manuals available somewhere? Also not sure if this helps but my previous posts about this machine was due to the steam wand just randomly starting to steam after the machine was on an idle. The only way to stop t

My thoughts on Linea Micra with 3 weeks of use

No regrets so far, 2 days in. lol. It’s so quiet! The steam wand is so powerful compared to other machines I’ve used (Breville Oracle touch, Breville Nespresso pod machine). Its small footprint is much appreciated, though I find myself already longing to get a drip tray with an integrated scale for
