2025 Is Here!

Whomever is behind the coros social media Reddit responsibility a sincere THANK YOU is owed. I love the fact that a coros representative is active in their own subreddit, brings me joy to see a company values their customers and actually listens and contributes to the betterment of the brand and pro...

Coros Nomad

As someone who’s very outdoorsy I think the watch seems super sick! Definitely an odd launch for coros though, was expecting an upgrade to the apex or vertix lineup

Disappointed with Coros software updates policy

Is this your first sports watch (in a while)? I get the frustration but it feels like you havent experienced the other brands development and support yet. Pace 2 is 5 years old but i do wonder why it was left out of this update… Record a Track Run with a Non-Standard Track Size (25 days ago Updated)...

Apex Coros 4

The white mark on the bezel near the larger button is ugly and unnecessary. The Coros branding should be done the same way as on the Nomad, Vertix, and Apex 2 Pro. This tendency Coros has to add lines on the screen and branding on some watches is just ugly. What saves us with Coros is that at least ...

The positioning of each Coros watch. Internal doc.

In Brazil, the Vertix is the same price as the Garmin Fenix 8. COROS, this makes it impossible to compete (Garmin has a very loyal audience here). You need to have a serious conversation with your Brazilian representatives about this pricing table. Conversion (taxes included): R$ 8169 = U$ 1510

Smartwatch for mountaineering

Coros Vertix 2S or Apex 2 Pro. both are sapphire glass, reasonable price, great battery life, and have maps. Made to compete with the Garmin watches without blowing the back out of your bank account. They also have some nice climbing/mountaineering specific activity settings.

I don’t understand Coros’ watch lineup/positioning

At least in my mind, the Coros release cycle is a lot less lockstep than Garmin's. This leads to leapfrogging of the watch lineup, where often the premium models are more outdated than the budget models. It might have higher build quality and tier of materials, but be behind in processor, etc. One t...

New Coros watch announcement August 19th

The key clue is the official tagline on the teaser page: "New Adventure GPS Watch." In Coros's branding, the Vertix line is positioned as the pinnacle "adventure" watch, built for mountaineering, multi-day expeditions, and the most extreme environments. The term "adventure" is its core identity. Whi...

Conflicted if Coros Nomad or Garmin Instinct 3 Solar

Honesty its going to be very hard to advise you here as very few people will have the Nomad yet and have more than 2 or 3 days experience with it, and you are unlikely to get many informed opinions here on the Instinct on a Coros reddit page. For what its worth as someone who uses Coros and Garmin I...

COROS Roadmap 2026

All speculation of course but I think a Vertix 4 in Q1 or Q2 is almost guaranteed. First Coros watch with an actual flashlight possibly. Apart from that it's more like guesses and wishes. If they keep the Pace Pro line and don't phase it out in favor of the regular Pace line, I think we will see a P...
