Ender-5 Max: z-axis component install doesn't fit
Awesome, glad you got up and going. not the easiest assembly. My next bit of advice would be if you're using Cura. There is no profile for a Ender 5 Max. Do not take the advice I did and use an Ender 5 and change the bed size manually. I did this and the first print led to the nozzle burying itself

Ender 5 max on sonic pad 7
I hate to tell you, but that is as far from the truth as possible. I am presently trying to upgrade my ender 5 max and even though creality said it, sonic pad, should work, it isnt not even listed on the firmware update list. At all. And the E5M is NOTHING like its other siblings.

I wouldn't try to flash the Ender 5 Max firmware to either the nebula pad or the MCU. If that were going to work, I think it would have worked when the original seller tried it.
