It is at the very least rooted - you can adjust mesh size in the configs. Those super dense meshes are used with cartographer style bed probes, they can do a few thousand samples in under a minute. I'm having a blast on my k1 max had for about two weeks and have been printing non stop. I picked it up on ebay refurbished for $322 free shipping. My door did come busted in shipping tho but creality shipped me out a replacement within the week.
