Am I stupid for not getting AMS

To be honest, if you're just "giving it a try" at this point, I wouldn't say you're wrong at all. While yes, you are saving a bit of money getting their combo's as opposed to buying the printer and an AMS seperately, it's also quite a bit more than JUST the printer if you're not sure how much you'll

Looking at getting this for terrain.

I bought the K2 combo from my work at a discount. It's "ok" for some terrain you intend to sand and paint, like rocks, walls, buildings, etc. I have so far printed plain bases to upscale my older collection and random stuff to try and justify the cost. There seems to be a steep learning curve with t

K2 Combo vale a pena?

What do you think of Creality K2 Combo?

Have the K2 Plus Combo, so that's the massive one, think it has the newer updates, could be wrong. Printing PLA Hyper and normal PLA. It just works. The plate is very textured though (not like the smooth S1 Pro one). But it does just work. Tag in a calibration of all its stuff (Creality Print so far

Purchase decision

The ones that get the most recommendations here are Bambu, Qidi (q2), elegoo centauri carbon 1 and 2, snapmaker u1, and Prusa (core 1). Some good reports on creality lately, but some mixed. Anycubic feedback is mixed. Flashforge occasionally mentioned w positive feedback also. My experience has been

First printer, around €500: P2S or QIDI Q2?

For the first printer go for P2S (COMBO !!!!) - no questions here at all. It is half way from P1S to H2S - it has pa auto calibrations and other and heater - you can DIY (install) heater into P2S (search online) or just insulate it outside (build a box) and/or increase bad temperature - check online

Creality K2 combo v Bambu P1S

I went with a K2 combo and it’s been working fantastic for me. It’s basically just plug and play, no complex setup. I wasn’t a fan of how Bambu locked down their software, so that’s a big reason why I went with Creality.

3d printer for beginner

I have the Creality K2 combo and love it! Honestly, most modern higher end printers will all perform with similar quality and ease of use; whether it be a Bambu X1, Creality K2, Elegoo Carbon, etc. For $1,000 you should be able to get a Creality K2 Plus Combo and that will be one of the largest prin
