Should I wait 5–6 months before building a PC?

That's not much i thought you were rendering 4K 60fps 3D models for your 3D printer but your work is in your budget. ============================================== All out build (Over budget but future proof) CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 (6 Cores, 12 Threads Beast CPU) — ₹19,845 Motherboard: MSI PRO B650M-

WUWA Lagging in 3.3

Could be. I am using a mediocre SSD. It's a crucial P3 plus 1TB. I'm on a desktop, specs are 5070 Ti, ryzen 9 7900X, 32GB DDR5 RAM. I shouldn't have problems with these specs. And I don't think the SSD makes it lag like that. Could be a different reason. I was also playing on max settings and dlss s

Anyone selling NVMe SSDs?

I have a crucial P5 plus 500GB at 85% health which I can sell you for ₹5k plus shipping! It is a pcie gen 4 SSD which has DRAM cache and has TLC NAND cells with 1.5 years warranty remaining! Or else you can get this which is still a good SSD but it is pcie gen 3! I also have Crucial P3 plus 1TB at 1

⚠️ Warning to anyone considering buying “Portable SSDs” on AliExpress

I bought a Crucial p3 plus 1tb from aliexpress just before the RAMpocalypse and SSDpocalypse. I almost regretted it instantly as it was only 30£ cheaper than on amazon. I think i lucked out though as mine is genuine a malaysian model. Using in a TBU405pro which is supposedly 40gb/s but not in real w

Slow Speeds w/ NVMe Enclosure

Youre speeds are normal. I have tbu405pro crucial p3 plus 1tb and i get 2900 read and 2679 write. I was a bit miffed at first but its pretty fast anyway in the grand scheme of things. Black Magic tests

What do you think of this.

something like a crucial p3 plus 1tb for nvme ... a single tower/fan like the assasin x 120r digital is great with a 5600 .. id highly recommend 32g of 3600 ram but u got to do what u must .. that setup will run any gpu you want very nicely .. i have a 5070ti on mine, but started with a 6600 ..

Should I go through with this? It’s my first time building a pc.

Alright first of all you can use the crucial P3 plus 1tb SSD instead to save some cash, the rtx3060 is outdated get the 9060xt or 5060ti (16gb version) instead, that CPU cooler is pretty expensive I can recommend you a cheaper one that works just as well it's the Thermalright aqua elite 360 V3 only

First build

Couple of changes I would make. SSD/M.2 - Change it to the Crucial P3 Plus 1TB. It's cheaper and has good speeds of 5000 MB/s & 3600 MB/s.https://pcpartpicker.com/product/chzhP6/crucial-p3-plus-1-tb-m2-2280-nvme-solid-state-drive-ct1000p3pssd8 Motherboard - MSI B850 Gaming Plus Wifi. Keep loosing my SSD Drive

See, that's been said... Survivorship bias incoming: I've been running a raid 10 zfs pool for over two years on commercial grade SSDs (Crucial P3 Plus, 1TB), and they have worn, but are still plenty lively for what I do... Think each disk is at about 10-11% wear.
