Any news on the ace pro 3?
The biggest problem with it is... 60cm minimum focus distance. It's cooked. Which effectively rules it out for me as I can't film close up shots or do chest mounted fishing shots. How do I remove this flicker ?
Dang that's a great idea! I got a severe case with DJI Action 6, the flicker is different and can't be handled by Resolve's Deflicker effect compared to a mirrorless camera. I'll probably try FlowFrames for the speed up if Davinci's Speed Warp doesn't work as well.

Insta360 Ecosystem 101
If you’re looking into ecosystems it’s tough for me to recommend starting with Insta because they’re mounts and batteries are not compatible across cameras. DJI for instance makes their cameras where one mount and battery works across multiple cameras. Very frustrating that with DJI you have to have

Thinking about getting a DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro — looking for real-world advice from current owners.
For photo, action cameras are pretty crappy - go for something like Panasonic S9, great video and photo and best IBIS in the business. As for action cameras, I have GoPro 13 and bought DJI action 6 but the picture quality was so bad comparing to GoPro that I sold it. I’m going to buy GoPro Mission 1

Insta360 X5 vs DJI OSMO Adventure Pack
insta 360 is a tried and tested product while the dji one is a first gen one.Meaning its a great product but might have bugs (i have heard of a fogging in some devices) Plus insta 360's software is great. I have had the x1 and the x3 and have the seen the progress over the years. Impressed at how fa

In case anyone was wondering
Thanks for sharing your experience with the cameras. It’s actually really helpful to know I’m not the only one looking to vlog in a low-key, discreet way that doesn’t draw too much attention. That’s exactly why I’m looking into these cameras. I do have a Fuji X100VI for photos, but it’s not really b

What’s Next for Insta360 in 2026?
X6: need better mounting system that doesn’t wobble, needs better SD card location or access, needs stronger body material so that the body can take some damage and still be able to replace the lens and use it whilst retaining water resistancenot waterproof Luna: i’m not too worried about this being

What do you think of this new Cinema camera?
Yeah I guess you're right. I was mislead by RC Rainmaker's hands-on where he uses a rig with all 3 new GoPros and uses that rig underwater (without housing). But upon closer inspection he switches the Mission 1 Pro ILS (MFT mount) with a DJI Action 6 for the underwater shots. Sneaky. Totally misled

Is the Action 6 still laggy and grainy, or is it worth buying?
I have been observing vlog videos using Action Pro 6 and DJI Osmo Pocket and i dunno why Osmo Pocket has better quality - clear and not too grainy unlike vlogs using Action Pro 6. I also find it very weak in low-lighting conditions
