Convince me to buy a BMPCC or a different camera

There's good news and bad news. The bad news is that there is no best or better camera. The good news is that any modern camera will do. No one who enjoys your film will be even remotely influenced by your equipment choices. Now, based on my experience making a "micro budget indy film", I'd use two

In case anyone was wondering

i bought the ap2 first. what sold me was the xplorer grip (non-bluetooth). it was fun, it was gimmicky, andi wanted a camera outside of my smartphone that i could use to just take pictures for the sake of the act. i adored the feel of it in my hands. i’ve taken some cool pictures it takes amazing vi

DJI Osmo pocket 3 or action 6

DJI osmo action 6. It’s best for vlogs. More rugged. Audio is amazing. Low light is amazing. The pocket 3 is great, with a caveat. The gimbal is fragile. It is the camera I keep at home. Amazing to have, keep it safe at home.

Does anyone have experience with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3/4 for getting clips.

i got the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 last year as a gift, and it was recommended by a bunch of comedians. The zoom up until 2.5 is surprisingly good. If you can get close to the stage the better. It does much better in low light than most phone cameras The mic is really, really fucking good. More impressed b

Do people suck or is it the camera?

It’s basically an action camera my dude, so that’s the level of image quality you should expect. Personally, I love my Nano and honestly carry it more than my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 these days. You do need to know how to dial in the settings to get the look you want. It can shoot in D Log M, so if you kn

What is the GR III of video cameras?

I would put dji osmo pocket 3 in the same category for video. Small, audio quality is great, can shoot d-log, stabilization is amazing. Bigger cameras like lumix, sony etc. are just not in the same category of weight and portability. Even the the aps-c sensor ones, they are just much bulkier when yo

Does anyone have a specific setup they believe in for filming games regarding location, height, angle, and equipment to support this positioning?

Here's my setup as a professional commercial filmmaker who now also does pickleball reviews / content so I need gameplay footage to talk through things and am picky about how it looks. I've run phones, professional cameras, gopros, etc but my preferred method is the dji osmo pocket 3. It's small, li

Probably going to start a content creator account

Go with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and I’d also recommend an insta360 Go camera. Between those two and a DJI microphone, you’ll be good to go. You can start editing off of the free DJI software until you decide you want to invest more into content creation. Don’t listen to the negative hate for wanting t
