Eero wifi 7
Can't speak to the eero 7 models but have been using the 6+ routers for a year and a half and they work great.

Ubiquiti AP Compatible with existing Eero hardware?
yeah you can do this but it won't mesh with the Eeros. the Ubiquiti AP will create its own separate SSID and network. you'd plug it into the Eero via ethernet and set it up standalone with the Unifi Network app. for your shop that's totally fine - just name the wifi the same as your main network and

EERO/Superloop Lightspeed Plan
Laptop connected via Cat6 directly to Eero, Eero is connected directly to FTTP. Laptop supports 1gbps ethernet, yet maxes out at 250/300 That is weird. I got the eero6+ too and even on wifi speedtest I am getting almost full 500/50 of my plan. https://ibb.co/qMCkm9CR

What Wi-fi 6 Router for home is the best value you've used?
Eero 6+ easiest setup I’ve ever seen, much faster than my ISP, modest price.

Please recommend modem for when FTTP arrives soon
I run 2x Eero and I love it. Super simple to set up too. Consistent 500-550Mbps upstairs and downstairs, if you are at the very end of the house (through a brick wall) it drops to about ~250-300Mbps. Edit- both are wired, and I have the 6+ version.

Upgraded to WiFi 6E — Cloud Gaming Feels Native Now!
No, I ran 5ghz off a Eero 6+ wifi 6 router. Swapped to Eero pro 6E and now I get not stuttering at all on my tablet. My speeds are more consistent at 800mbps when I have 1gb Download. Definitely makes a difference. 6E provides 6ghz connection.

Should I purchase the Verizon Fios Wifi Extender or try another option?
Very happy with Eero 6. Nodes are wired backhauled though. 300/300 service and 300/300 speeds all around the house..

Should I purchase the Verizon Fios Wifi Extender or try another option?
Mesh by name is a system that connects over WiFi to each other node. One is a router and in the case of Fios, you can connect directly to the ONT and not use the supplied router. The system manages all nodes, channels and power levels. They also help clients roam around. But most allow them to be in

Better home wifi
I would use the Amazon Eero mesh wi-fi system. It is designed for someone who’s not an expert. The set of three Access Points (APs) should do it for your house. You plug one into your existing Cox internet router. It auto-negotiates the connection. The other APs are placed around the house. The APs

Leaptel having quietly added the new NBN 500/50 plan as of today 4 August 2025
If its an original eero6, those WiFi speeds are about what you can expect. It only has a dual band 80Mhz WiFi 6 radio, whereas the eero 6+ has 160Mhz channel support. Which would push it to 600-800Mbps in a real world scenario. The speedtest from the eero app is a wired test, so its showing that the
