Help needed to select mesh routers

I don't know which brand is the best brand but I recently switched from Google Nest Wifi (not pro) to TP link Deco BE63 mesh system and pretty happy about it. Each BE63 unit has four 2.5Gbps ports. You can create a total of four networks with it. The Main network supports 2.4, 5 and 6Ghz bandwidth.

Ethernet between two condos

Have you investigated doing this via wireless? I share my internet with my neighbor using a mesh setup. Check out TP-Link BE63. It works flawlessly

Finally switched to TP-Link Deco

I did the same and moved to the same company (TP-Link Deco 7 Pro BE63 Tri-Band WiFi 7 BE10000). So happy with my internet/networking now without the weekly reboots I had automated with Google WiFi.

Aimesh vs different brands access point

AI Mesh didn't work for me when I tried it with a GT-AXE16000 and RT-AX57Go. I had the bands split on the Gt-AXE16000 and instead of using the same SSID for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands as was being used for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz 1 band on the GT-AXE16000, it just used the 2.4 GHz band SSID for both

2GB/s Ports on Mesh? - Just got 2GB Fiber

If you have time, monitor eBay for BE63 (BE10000) or BE65 (BE11000)These have 4x2.5G ports. Sometimes they pop up for $300 per set of 3. If you buy only one, you can make it the main Deco.

Full Wi-Fi 7 Mesh Setup with Deco BE25 - 2.5Gbps Ethernet Backhaul & MLO vs Wi-Fi 6E?

You can also look into deco be63, each unit has 4 2.5Gb ports. If you plan to upgrade to an even faster fiber in the future, then be65 offers two 5Gb ports and two 2.5Gb ports.

Upgraded from 1g to 2g

I see what you're saying, but manual allocation is a bit dated for a WiFi 7 ecosystem. The Deco 7 Pro uses AI-driven QoS and SQM which handles the packet prioritization dynamically. Combined with MLO, the router can spread the load across 5GHz and 6GHz simultaneously. Even if I'm pulling 2Gbps on on

BE68 Download & Stability Issues

It's not Wi-Fi seven's fault, it's Tp Link's extremely inconsistent implementation of it across their product line. I would recommend downgrading to the BE63, it seems to be more stable, which is very ironic. Also Deco's just suck in general lol. Like it's a half assed copy of Eero and it's a wonder
