Are recent tp-link routers only configurable via the app?

99% of settings on deco system are done via app. Source: I had the XE75, XE75 pro, and now the BE63 systems

Xfinity router

XB7’s and XB8’s kinda suck in range. They also heavily limit what you can do. I have my XB8 in bridge mode and connected my Deco BE63 system to its port 4. Since it has 3x 1gb ports and only 1x 2.5 port

What wifi and/or mesh brand are you using?

I just went to TP Link Deco BE63 with 3 units in preparation of moving to fiber as it becomes available (lines were trenched in over the summer), so far so good, though I don't like that almost all management must be done with an app and not a web interface.

Deco BE25 only giving 400-500 mbps compared to the 1.2gbps mentioned in the Deco app under internet speed test

So just for kicks I turned off the 6ghz band on my BE63, made my phone renegotiate to 5ghz. If you go in the advanced settings and check your channel bandwidth for your 5ghz band, @160mhz I get about ~700-800 mbps, @80hz I get around 400mbps.. so check that I’m sitting about 5 feet away from the dec

Be95 beta firmware is amazing !!!

All deco WiFi 7 models got that upgrade finally the BE63 BE65 BE11000 BE85 and BE95 the fact they finally listened about selecting our own WiFi channels is a huge step in the right direction. Some are still in beta but the BE63 has an official release it just never showed up in the deco app I had to

Extremely Satisfied w/Firewalla

I had/have netgear cm3000 modem, and tp link be63 mesh with wired backhaul. I have an unmanaged switch, and a few RPis doing things like pihole, NAS, etc.. My BE63s were running as the router. I just set up the firewalla in router mode, and made my BE63 an AP so disabled its own routing. I couldn’t

Too many devices?

For about two months recently, we had an Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000. Overall a good router, I guess, it covered our house very nicely in fact, but it's firm-where was not very stable. We switched to a Tp-Link Deco BE63 mesh Wi-Fi system and it has so far not been flawless, but has worked pretty we

Did I just buy two separate systems? BE15000 and Deco BE1100/BE65 Pro

Never had that experience with Deco. We are running four BE63s. AI mesh just has random issues where it won't sync all of your SSID settings over to the node and it's overall just a really clunky interface. I don't like it. If you get one of those ZenWi-Fi packs, you'll probably be fine. But don't e

TP-Link Deco BE22 vs BE25 vs XE75 Pro - 2025 October (Wireless backhaul testing)

Does your office have a coaxial somewhere? I would always try and run ethernet but I get it. I ran cat 6 solid copper throughout my whole house and all of my decos are wired backhauled. But if you do have a coaxial in the office. Try one of these. It could help. An thanks for doing that test! Thats
