I mean if you switch routers out that you can't restore back ups from the previous one onto a lot, I could definitely see it being helpful. Otherwise, if you're a normal person and keep your router for like five or six years, it's not really a problem unless you're adding a bunch of devices at once.

How about a firmware update for the Deco BE63. Last one was 1.2.0 Build 20250718 Rel. 43949 I’ll seriously think long and hard regarding vendors when it’s time to upgrade.

No worries your good you have the newer one as your main deco that’s all that matters. Decos are constantly changing hardware versions usually for better hardware in my case my BE63 version 1.6 was a complete disaster and riddled with hardware problems that’s why they made the 2.6 version

I’ve had the same issue with Deco BE63’s and was hoping to swap to AP7s for stability. I did something similar, except I isolated the 6 GHz band to its own SSID. So either both Deco and AP7 have issue with iPhone 16 and 6Ghz or iPhone has a bad implementation.
