Can't say for certain about compatibility, but the Eero Pro 7 has wifi 7 while your orbi only does Wifi6 so technically that Eero will be better overall as its wifi mesh can handle more more devices at higher speeds.

It may be due to the WiFi access point you are using. You can lookup "bufferbloat". The symptom is when you have good ping latency when not doing anything else, and that ping latency degrades sharply when you have some heavy network activity on the side. An Orbi setup is fine. Frontier just can't (won't) trouble shoot a customer provided router. Eero Pro 7 has wifi 7 and may be a better router, but your existing router is compatible with Frontier.
