An experiment…external battery and 12w solar panel
For the past few years I've run a eufy 2k outdoor cam continuous recording (the e220 outdoor) off a 12v deep cycle battery that gets charged off a 50w solar panel. I have a dual battery solar charge controller that splits the solar panel charging between the battery driving my security cameras and s

Should I return these or can I fix this?
I don't want to rain on your parade but EUFY is bad, I say that with experience because I heavily invested in EUFY and it failed me when I needed it the most. Where I live EUFY is heavily over priced, but I was able to purchase from a seller that broke up packs, this just meant I was able to get the

HomeKit For eufy S330 Camera
Arriving at this Eufy/Homekit question/topic now - just received a Homebase 3 and 4x S3 Pro cameras and understand: (a) Cameras are natively Homekit but whilst my iCloud plan allows for unlimited Homekit Secure Video cameras, the Homebase limits this to 4 cameras (b) Native HKSV is restricted to 108

Got a buddy who has the alarm subscription and he says its working well. I used to have the Arlo camera system, Pr

Recommendations for best 4 camera wireless system
S3 pro sucks. Not sure about the rest but don't waste your money. Mine is unreliable, when it does work....frames skip like crazy...aka you see someone then 5 seconds goes by in an instant and they are gone from the next frame. The best feature is the spotlight on motion, it scares people off. As a

G410 motion detection in HomeKit terrible
You are having red same issues with the eufy s3 pro? If so i might consider ring then. I already pay for ring for the security monitoring so would be free for me. I have home assistant running so would still show up in HomeKit i believe

Best camera for squirrel detection?
The Eufy S3 Pro is a wireless battery powered camera, they rely on PIR sensors to detect, which is the worst kind of detection you can possibly have for a camera. If I were you I'd return that immediately. It is not a matter of brand, it is just battery powered cameras suck, all of them. A Wi-Fi plu
