Grinder upgrade?
As a comment above, think what you expect from coffee. Flat burr - for light and medium roast Conical burr - for dark roast For DF64 if you pick gen 2.5 you are covered. Also in same price rand you can buy: eureka - zero 65 AP, single dose, pro; df64 -> anything closer to this spec:~65mm burr and ze

Switched from single dosing to a Mahlkönig E65 GBW… I don’t think I’m going back.
Agreed with this. Like I’ll pay more for GBW but for example on the mignons what’s virtually the same grinder moving from the zero to the libra roughly doubles the cost. Feels like it should be $100 or so

Advice on upgrading grinder [$500]
On my silenzio the accuracy was around 0.3 g when i still used the hopper. Switched to single dosing because it keeps the beans fresher. If gbw is worth it is subjective. I personally wouldn't get a libra but i am thinking of building the open source GbW project that exists for mignons

Eureka Atom W 65 Casa vs non-Casa?
You should get the Eureka fillet Mignon silenzio single dosso si casa mi casa Libra atom bomb Gemini, instead Fuck I'm tired of eureka product line up with the same thing under the hood

Under extracted .. sour always [Profitec Go + Eureka Mignon Oro Single Dose]
I'm a beginners as well, but my impression from multiple failed sour shots, is that filling the portafilter enough is pretty important for the taste. I have Eureka mignon libra and profitech 600. The grinding setting has to be just right, I my experience. It can be real finnicky.

Eureka Libra - 3 years since it came out... any thoughts?
I have a Eureka Mignon Libra AP 65mm with grind by weight. I use about a hopper of beans (generally a medium roast) in a week (~340g/12oz), and don’t notice any real change from the first beans from a freshly-opened bag to the end of the hopper fill. However, the workflow is … meh. The beans jam in

How to choose between Fiorenzato AllGround Sense vs Eureka Atom 75 GBW (or 65) [$1500]
Hi OP, how are you liking the Fiorenzato AGS? What you mentioned in your post is the exact same position I’m in and you even mentioned wanting to swap out burrs in the future in case you wanted to (e.g., SSP burrs). I don’t think the Fiorenzato AGS burr carrier can even fit thicker SSP burrs so how

I have an Eureka Libra, would a Philos really would make me feel the difference?
The Libra and atom are using really old chamber design from like 10 years ago. I had 2 eureka mignon and returned both, horrible retention and it clogged 9 out of 10 times and it's a pain in the ass to do a deep clean

I love this thing
I use my mignon zero instead of the libra just to be able to use my subscale.

E64 WS - toxic love story
My biggest reservation about the Fiorenzato AGS is that you can never swap burrs to something like an AGS. I am very scared to get the Mahlkonig E64 WS because it is too reliant on software and Eureka Mignon Libra 65AP or the Atom W 65 both use stupid 65mm burrs (not compatible aftermarket burrs lik
