My thoughts trying an Apple Watch after being a Fitbit User for 6-7 years.

So for over a month+ I’ve worn my Apple Watch Ultra on my left wrist and Fitbit Charge 5 on my right. What I have discovered in one or more tweets: the Fitbit app is 1000xs better at showing you your stats for the day in the morning. The Apple Watch is beautiful. Fitbit is simple.

I still like Fitbit

Am I crazy or why is this page so negative? Honestly Fitbit seems to offer pretty affordable products with fairly accurate information (according to the quantified scientist on youtube). I think especially if you look at price comparison to especially Garmin or Apple, Fitbit has some pretty great pr...

Dead after 18 months

Well after only 18 months, 10 of which the battery only lasts 2 days the Charge 5 is dead.

An unresolved ongoing support case with Fitbit from March

And to top it off, I put an inspire 3 in my shopping basket with Argos last night to find it’s went up £20 this morning!

I’m out!

Google have full...

Just upgraded to Inspire 3⌚️

Finally took the plunge and upgraded from a Charge 4 which I had been using for years to an Inspire 3. Why might you ask did I opt for an Inspire instead of a Charge 6? Price point primarily, as the Inspire is about $40-50 cheaper, but surprisingly also the slim form factor and the leaner features. ...

Would you still buy an Inspire 3?

After 4 years of intensive use my Inspire 2 is wearing out. Apart from a period of syncing/update problems I loved it. Seems quite accurate, it is small and I can use it to track my swimming. So I am thinking of using a Black Friday deal to buy an Inspire 3. Seems like good value for money. I am a b...

Is the Inspire 3 any good?

I've recently started taking my health and fitness quite a bit more seriously. I for some reason decided to buy a fitness tracker on Amazon. I've only had it a month and it's already having issues. I've also wondered how accurate it actually is. So I think it's time to upgrade.

There's some good sa...

Walking for mental health

Right I can hit that by walking my dog twice a day and doing housework along with ten minutes on my rebounder. If I don’t get those steps, I feel like crap. I have a very reasonably priced tracker watch (Fitbit Inspire 3)

New to fitness wearables, is inspire 3 still worth getting in September 2025?

I recently bought my first wearable in a while and had a budget of $600. I still ended up going with the relatively cheap Inspire 3 because it hit most of my criteria: Small, comfortable form factor. No monthly subscription required for tracking features. All wearables have privacy risks, but I trus...

Buying a Fitbit in 2025????

I bought one like a month ago but I saw some Walmart sales recently Charge 6 for $108 and Inspire 3 for $85. I thought about waiting on new ones to come out but I use it enough, and they're cheap enough (new pixel watch is like $400) for me to justify buying it. If one does come out, I'm going to bu...
