My thoughts trying an Apple Watch after being a Fitbit User for 6-7 years.

So for over a month+ I’ve worn my Apple Watch Ultra on my left wrist and Fitbit Charge 5 on my right. What I have discovered in one or more tweets: the Fitbit app is 1000xs better at showing you your stats for the day in the morning. The Apple Watch is beautiful. Fitbit is simple.

Fitbit Community banned me

I got banned because I would not be quiet about how the update basically made the Inspire 3 unusable. They repeatedly deleted my posts critiquing the update and their failure to address the issue and I repeatedly posted their emails to me saying they deleted them. They couldn’t take criticism about...

Google retiring all Fitbit accounts 2/26 - Warning especially to minors with Fitbits!

I just received an email stating that all fitbit accounts will become unusable on 2/26 and must be transitioned to Google accounts before then.

I posted on the fitbit Inspire forums here:

Just upgraded to Inspire 3⌚️

Finally took the plunge and upgraded from a Charge 4 which I had been using for years to an Inspire 3. Why might you ask did I opt for an Inspire instead of a Charge 6? Price point primarily, as the Inspire is about $40-50 cheaper, but surprisingly also the slim form factor and the leaner features. ...

My son seems to have traversed our solar system in a… an hour!?

Yes indeed, his Fitbit Inspire 2 died on him a week ago - we had to attempt the hard reset multiple times before it would come alive, then after a day of usage that number of steps appeared on the Fitbit! We were curious if the count would sync over to the app, looks like it did!

Whole thing down?

My inspire 3 wouldn’t update so I followed troubleshooting. Disconnected. Now won’t reconnect. Anyone else?

How are fitbits now?

The last few weeks have been horrible. Nonstop sync issues with the app and they had a major outage yesterday which they say is fixed but I'm still having issues. I just got an inspire 3 which is a great watch but when the app isn't working, it's pretty much just a watch. Id honestly go Garmin at th...

Resting heart rate spike

I’m 24, F, recently had some stomach problems and have been on a prescription for about two weeks but this isn’t listed as a side effect.

I’ve also had some other high resting heart rate issues with my Inspire 3 giving me notifications but nothing showing up in the app for having a high resting he...

Inspire 3 Notifications Keep Stop Working

I recently switched to an Inspire 3 from a Garmin device because I liked how small it was. I have small wrists and I don't like wearing bulky things on my wrist in the winter when I'm layering sweaters, coats, mittens, etc. Although I use the fitness tracking, the primary purpose for this device was...

Do you think polar will realise a better alternative to whoop than amazfit?

I really had high hopes for the sleep tracking on the helio strap, but it’s not good it’s not trash but not good. Fitbit inspire 3 costs like 60-70€, have a better algorithm for the sleeptracking then the helio strap. But fitbits OS is trash, and doesn’t offer many thinks from my perspective. Polar ...
