Should I still invest in Fitbit or is it a dead brand?
I’ve been wearing the same Fitbit (Versa 4) daily since Dec 2022 with no issue. I still have an Alta HR from 2018 that works fine. I panicked switching over to a Google account because of all the negative reviews here and waited until I was forced to do it earlier this year. Switched over without in

PW3 severely underreporting distance (or rate)
I walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes.
- 2.0 mph (30 minute mile) for total of 2 minutes - 1 min warmup, 1 cooldown
- 3.0 mph (20 minute mile) for total of 8 minutes
- 3.3 mph (~18 minute mile) for total of 20 minutes
This should be an average speed of 3.13 mph, or about a 19 minute mile.

More than 4.1 LAKHS steps in one week : Flexworthy?
Fitbit Versa 4. The most accurate pedometer in the market. Actually I just completed a 7 days 7 Marathon Distance challenge. So obviously the steps are just crazy everyday

Yet another post about switching away from Fitbit
I love Fitbit. I’ve had one since 2016 and it still works and the battery is great. I got a versa 4 for Christmas so I’m excited to try it. Fitbit I feel has the best sleep tracking.

I upgraded
I’ve used the Versa 2 for 2+ years and now the Versa 4 for 2 years and I have not had any major issues. Had a few syncing issues but an update would come as soon as I noticed the issue and it would be resolved. Overall, Fitbit has been a 9/10 for me.

Active 2 mini review from a long-time Fitbit user
I've found the posts on this subreddit really helpful as I've been researching smartwatches, so I wanted to share my experience switching to the Amazfit Active 2 in the hopes that it might help others. (I also used AI to help me write this, to save time and hopefully make it more readable!)

Galaxy 7 Bespoke BF Sale
I was in with FitBit from Day one - had the tracker you put in a bra or a sock all the way till my Versa 4 I got about this time last year and then lost in Albuquerque airport over the summer. I've been without Stats for months now and it's a bit like being naked.
So, as a Samsung person (24 Ultra

My Fitbit died. Do I bother to buy another?
Fitbit's not being phased out -- there's new hardware (people are assuming Charge 7) coming this year ( https://9to5google.com/2025/10/27/new-fitbit-2026/ ). If I were in your position, I'd get a discounted Versa 4 for now and switch to the new Fitbit later on.

Best alternative
I love my Versa 4. But it is slowly dying and having performance issues. With Fitbit being chased out, I'm looking for the best alternative that is most similar to the versa. I love the square face and style of it. I have Android, so no Apple Watch. Everything Ive seen is expensive, not available in
