3D Printed Hardtop
If we’re considering just materials alone then yea I clear the cost of most other aftermarket hardtops by a good sum. I bought a printing setup that can churn out all the plastic I need for this project relatively quick which is three printers but I chalked those up to business expenses as I plan on

There is a mimalmalist enclosure that uses only one spool of filament that is highly regarded. https://www.printables.com/model/1130485-flashforge-adventurer-5m-ad5m-minimal-diy-enclosur

At this point, maybe I should just switch brands
100% this, Print these in petg and pop them in. You can also leave the door open a few inches, especially for pla (petg and tpu I close the door but leave the tabs, they keep the feeder tube from scratching the lid): Flashforge 5m Pro Top Lid Vent Tabs

Filament Brands
Most brands, from what I've experienced are pretty similar. Just maybe avoid the cheapest, no name brands. For the enclosure, I'd recommend the minimal version. It uses less filament and still works fine with the kit from Flashforge. https://www.printables.com/model/1130485-flashforge-adventurer-5m-

Whats the best enclosed 3d printer for beginners
Okay no one's recommended this but I have the Flashforge Adventure 5m Pro which is fully enclosed. I'm happy with my printer I have almost 400 hours of printing on it now and only a handful of failed prints and I would say all that isn't related to the printer itself, one of it was a design I tried

Clogged AD5X
I’ve only had the 5X since November/December this past year and appox 175-200 print hours on it. Feel like that ones been broke as much as it has worked. I have also had the E07 error twice now. Flashforge was good about replacing the heating element the first time. But shipping for that took foreve

People are nuts on marketplace
If you're thinking of pulling the trigger on the adventurer 5m pro, sometimes Flashforge has sales. Especially with the ADXM out now, the price of the 5m pro shouldn't be too high. There's always the route of buying the 5m and printing the enclosure for a fraction of the difference (although you do

AD5M Enclosure
It is alot of printing for the stock enclosure kit, but like others say, it is worthwhile - it prevents airflow from cooling the print environment, and it cuts down on noise and dust. I have a dryer that I use for filament, so needed a mod for some of the pieces that didn't include the spool holder.

Im looking to buy a used neptune 4 pro
I have two EN4Pros. These printers need a bit of TLC while you dial them in. I have been printing with ABS all along (over 2 years) in a custom enclosure I made. The printer also benefits from some upgrades. Silicone spacers under the bed are a must, otherwise you will keep re-leveling. Linear rails
