Should i buy xm5?

Great photos on your iPhone 13 Pro. You will do well moving over to a Fuji body. The X-M5 is well priced package. Hard to beat for buying new. Older Fujis will still have pretty close image quality as advancements in sensor tech hasn’t really changed that much. For instance an image from an X-T2 or

Not having fun with my X-T3- am I doing it wrong?

If you can try another Fujifilm body with an IBIS and bigger battery like X-S20 you mentioned (or even the X-T4/5), it may help you.

Blur Equivalence: The Hidden APS-C Cost Trap?

I'm an experimental filmmaker and I don't want to be walking around filming with a huge rig and fat lenses. I got the Fujifilm X-S20 which does 6k/10 bit, has good Ibis and good DR. It's a tiny camera with a tiny Sigma 18-50 and a bunch of vintage M42 lenses and I got myself a tiny filmmaking tool t

Is it stupid to go back to MFT?

The only thing I considered maybe getting was the G9II. Anything else feels archaic, imo. But also, yeah, I think you're crazy going back to MFT if you sold all your glass. If you still have your lenses, maybe less crazy. The way I see it as someone who doesn't have prior investment in MFT is that i

Looking for compact hybrid camera (photo + video) under 1000€ – Lumix S5 too heavy?

I had the S5, ended up selling it and getting a Fujifilm X-S20 so I can offer some advice. The S5 has really wonderful image quality, and I do sometimes miss it. It's not terribly heavy. I brought it on a 2 week carry-on only holiday and it was fine, but I only had one lens. But the X-S20 is much sm

Official Question Thread! Ask /r/photography anything you want to know! April 03, 2026

Hi! I need some advice. I'm buying my first camera and I want to get into the fujifilm system. I want to do mostly photography but also a bit of video. I'm not sure whether to buy the xs20 or the xt30iii. I know the xs20 is better because of the grip, IBIS and battery, but the price difference is qu

Xt30III

Thank you very much. X-S20 has bigger battery, fully articulating screen and IBIS. Apparently, IBIS in S20 isn't really smooth enough. X-T30 iii has better autofocus which seems to be an issue with Fuji. I love Sony but a6700 is not in my budget plan. I need to save for lenses too. a6400 & a6600 are

First mirrorless camera (Sony ZV-E10 vs Fujifilm X-M5?) need advice!

Few points to note - Both ZV-E10 and X-M5 are video first cameras, and both lack EVF and IBIS. Instead of ZV-E10, I would prefer getting a Sony A6400. Sony has better auto tracking and more real life colours, whereas Fujifilm has better looking moody colours which I personally prefer. If you can ext

For all the Pros who shoot Nikon

a friend of mine still rocks the Canon 5D mk.2 and 3 for all of their jobs. I’m sure if they had a R6 mk.2 and 3 their job would be easier and the results a bit better but it’s not an issue, that money goes elsewhere. Gear is about how much you enjoy using it and the results you get. That’s it. As f
