Which app you are hosting which you feel others in the community don’t know

RomM It is like Plex but for video games. Once set up, you can upload .ZIP, .RAR, .ISO, etc. files of ROMs without even needing to uncompress. RomM scans the games in, can pull metadata from IGDB (free through Twitch Developer Portal to link). You can even play the games direct in the browser via Ja

MCON Controller is Complete Garbage

That's hilarious. The G8 Galileo feels like a proper console controller. It's even more ergonomic than any dedicated Android handheld I've ever owned. The marketing around this controller is so ridiculous.

Can anyone recommend me a robust good build quality version of this, so many cheap nasty crap on the market that wouldn’t survive travelling

I went with the GameSir G8 Galileo to have a controller that does not need recharging. Feels great in hand, works perfectly on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. You can even set the menu button to open Moonlight.

Cursed to remove my phone case every time I use the backbone.

The GameSir G8 Galileo is pretty great if you just need the USB-C connection and no Bluetooth. Feels a lot like a regular Xbox controller, and I don’t have to remove my phone case to plug it in. These smaller, more Switch-like ones are super uncomfortable to me.

Let's see what you got!

I use RomM to host the ZIPs/RARs, but I am not fully pleased with the browser-based gaming experience. It is an amazing concept but not quite there. It is finicky with the menu dropdowns and whether things launch full-screen or not. What I landed on was buying a G8 Galileo controller for my Android

Why should I get an Odin 3 instead of a controller for my smartphone?

This is an excellent question. At first I used a G8 Galileo with my pixel 6. It was mostly viable I guess, but: It would decimate my battery, which was bad because I needed the battery for phone stuff later on Screen was a bit small at 16x9 it measured only 5,36". Attaching and removing the controll

GameSir 8 Galileo still worth it now?

Asking if anyone has this controller is moot, you are on the Gamesir subreddit, there will be many people that own this. It's good, it's sturdy, quiet; but the D-pad is loud and clicky so I avoid using it on planes or in bed with someone. I use the X5 Lite instead for travel. The G8 Galileo will not

Mobile gaming.

Some quick gameplay of Red Dead Redemption iPhone 15 Pro

Touch screen controls are that’s why I just gave up and got the G8 Galileo

Everyone else: Steam Decks. Me, a poor:

I've got the Gamesir G8 Galileo and couldn't be happier Wish I had a Steam deck but it is a pretty decent replacement
