New Suunto?
Suunto has very limited smartwatch features, especially on iOS. You'll be disappointed. Basically you'll get notifications on your watch and that is about it. The app ecosystem is very rudimentary and focuses on activity tracking. Garmin is a bit better smartwatch, if we look at smartwatch features,

HRV Tanked after 21.25 update
Same issue for me too that it made me worry about my general health , went to get checked up and everything is fine , sleep , skin temp , respiration , resting heart all solid this silly update made me force myself to even take 10 days off running to think my body needed to absorb the training etc b

Step count possibly wrong?
I've gone back to my Fitbit now because of the under counting. I compared it to my Fitbit inspire 3 and a Garmin Epix gen 2, the Garmin and Fitbit were around the same amount of steps after 5k the band was around 1800 down. It's a pity because I love everything else about it but the step count is no

Is buying a Garmin GPSMAP actually worth it?
I had an epix 2 and loved it for hikes but... the first one had a faulty screen, then the replacement died the instant I went into water. The refund process was so awful that I just gave up and haven't had one since. Non of this should put you off though, this was all to do with buying off amazon. W

Which computer?
Give that Garmin computer a couple years and the battery won't be remotely as impressive. You can say that about literally any device. That's how batteries work. And a cycling computer that's a couple of years old will still have better battery life compared to smartphones of the same age. Also, lat

How are these not dominating the market?
I have tried 10+ watches and settled on this one. It is in some important ways better than $1300 Garmin Fenix 8 Sapphire - brighter screen for example and lower weight. It is not dominating the market because 1) people are stupid and need few years to grasp the situation 2) Amazfit is greedy and wil

GPS Tracking in Open Water
I used to swim a lot in the ocean with my Epix Gen 2 and the watch just stop working the start button. After going to repair the oxidation inside was terrible and so expensive to fix that I just bought another watch. I will never put a watch again in salty water. I created an app and now I use my lo

Garmin Altimeter is dead, take the deal Garmin gave me or look for another brand?
Had the same issues for my Epix Gen 2 after almost 4 years and took the refurbished replacement option.

T Rex 3 Pro vs Garmin Epix pro (Gen 2)
The Expix Pro Gen 2 is a nice watch, but doesn't get any feature updates any longer if that's important to you. It has solid build quality too. Other than that, personally, I would go for the T Rex 3 Pro. The UI is so much faster and smoother, and not laggy. The UI on the Epix Pro is very laggy, alt
