Best Garmin Watch for MTB
Yeah I am a fellow Epix Gen 2 user and very happy with it for MTB, hiking and pool swimming as my main activities. The AMOLED screen is particularly good for clarity I find. My friend has the enduro 2 and he rates it for MTB also.

Garmin Watch
I use the Epix Gen 2. I’m primarily a runner as well but cycling at least once a week. And I too just signed up for a Sprint Tri this fall (swimming sucks for me 🤣). The Epix works great. It’s a bit heavier than some of the other options but I like that it’s rugged (I have the sapphire version). I d

Switch from fenix 8
I’m using an Epix 2 and got the opportunity to use a Vertical 2 for a week. I loved the watch, it’s fast and easy to use. Just like it was said before, the lack of buttons gives way less ways to have shortcuts (which I use a lot). You would be likely to put the light on one meaning just another shor

Anyone made a switch from Garmin epix2 to AW Ultra gen3?
I went from Apple Watch 7 (2 years) to an Epix Gen 2 (2 years) and now an AWU3 (4 months). I miss some things from my Garmin but ultimately cared more about better integration with my phone and my Workout app of choice (Fitbod). Things I miss: week long battery life 5 physical buttons (you can disab

GPS watch recommendations?
This may not be valuable to you… But I got my Garmin epix 2gen used from this website: https://www.2ndswing.com/accessories/gps-watches/garmin-epix-gen-2-gps-watch?srsltid=AfmBOorJ6VwzRFEF92MNuNW0JxYKX_FCOyuC5JT1rUUYufNUFXNrQG6F I have been using it for a year and in many hikes, and has been great.

New Suunto?
Suunto has very limited smartwatch features, especially on iOS. You'll be disappointed. Basically you'll get notifications on your watch and that is about it. The app ecosystem is very rudimentary and focuses on activity tracking. Garmin is a bit better smartwatch, if we look at smartwatch features,

HRV Tanked after 21.25 update
Same issue for me too that it made me worry about my general health , went to get checked up and everything is fine , sleep , skin temp , respiration , resting heart all solid this silly update made me force myself to even take 10 days off running to think my body needed to absorb the training etc b

Apple Watch Ultra, Garmin Fenix, or something else entirely?
First off, ive got an Epix 2nd gen, because they've recently stopped the epix line its amazing value for money atm. Love it for hiking, biking, climbing, everything. Second point, and maybe others have had better experiences than me, but ive never been impressed by any crash detection. I was hit by

Step count possibly wrong?
I've gone back to my Fitbit now because of the under counting. I compared it to my Fitbit inspire 3 and a Garmin Epix gen 2, the Garmin and Fitbit were around the same amount of steps after 5k the band was around 1800 down. It's a pity because I love everything else about it but the step count is no
