Saphire is stronger but not invincible, once scratched I think you are done. you cant repair it. Traditionnal gorrilla like glass can be repaired with DIY kit you find for 10/20 bucks. Also a glass protector cost nothing and is very thin, I took one and if I dont tell you I have one you cant notice
