Stuck between two fitness trackers
I had the pace pro and now 570. I often regret the switch. Yes the Garmin feels more premium and the device has some extra features and stats. The reality is you will never really use them, even if they sound good on paper. The only think I would miss going back to pace pro is the body battery as I

Coros pace 4 or wait for garmin forerunner 170?
Currently using Garmin (FR 570), formerly Coros and Suunto. I would absolutely recommend the Pace 4 unless Garmin simultaneously changes its device segmentation strategy and product direction in the next week (not gonna happen). With the new Alu version of the Pace 4, Coros finally has something tha

Thinking about switching to Garmin
I have used apple watch during my “early” days. I also bought a fr165 music edition which I used for a year. Then I upgraded to fr965 because I am doing tri. Now from my experience, the AW can do what the fr165 can. The fr965 is def an overk!ll if I don’t do multisports. If you’re looking for a chea

Leaving Garmin?
It was a few things. The main one was battery life. I run outside in cold winters and hot summers. With the cold, my watch battery would go down 20-40% during a run. Sometimes the battery would go back up after warming up. I did some trouble shooting with garmin but nothing really fixed it. Sometime

Looking for an upgrade
Sorry to hear you didn’t like your Polar M3. In my case the V3 is the best Polar watch I have had in over 25 years of Polar watches. I really like the AMOLED screen, and the battery life is quite acceptable. It gives me the metrics I want with no silly fluff. And I have no real issues with either ve

Watch: fr 570 vs Coros pace 4

watchOS 27 to Offer New Watch Faces, Including 'Modular Ultra' Variant
Garmin watch faces are ridiculously bad, third party ones also tank battery so they’re non-starters imo. Their basic digital face still has a scaling error (40% smaller than the smaller screen FR265 gen) on the FR570/970 generation, even reported it to a buddy who works there, they’re aware of it an

Should I buy M3 ?
The 570 is kinda considered to be a bad deal - it is expensive but it doesn't do that much over older models like 265 which are much cheaper. The usual wisdom is if you want to go Garmin, either go with older model like 265, or pay all the way for the 970 or fenix. As for 570 vs M3, both have some f

Bought a Garmin FR 570, hated it, swapped it out for this bad boy!
It's crazy that the 570 doesn't have maps for that price. That plus the Garmin subscription BS = no buy from me.

Official Q&A for Tuesday, March 31, 2026
Garmin in the last few years turned into overpriced status symbol and 570 is considered to be the worst value in the current Garmin lineup, so unless you're in "spending this money will make no difference in my life whatsoever" place, I wouldn't. Now if you really do want better watch, you can get b
