**TL;DR:**
Rode 205 km solo in the summer heat (33 °C max). No cramps, no bonk.
Key to success: early start (5 AM), strict fueling (80g carbs/h), smart pacing (mostly Z2), salt tabs, and short but consistent breaks. Didn’t taper, didn’t carb load but had a solid base and lots of planning.

I wondered whether being a Garmin Fenix 5, then Fenix 6 pro owner, whether I could change sides. After all, I was attached to my MiP display and the durability of the Garmin. I’d been waiting for something that looks exactly like the Suunto Race 2 - slim profile, beautiful display with titanium and

I wanted to make a post because so far I’ve seen nothing but mixed to negative reviews about the forerunner 970.
After wearing for a good month now, I can confirm, this watch is absolutely amazing. I came from a fenix 5x plus and use for both trail and road running. I debated spending more to get t

I’ve been on Fenix MIP since the 7 and just made the jump to the Forerunner 970 AMOLED. I’m mainly training for a marathon right now, so I figured I didn’t really need all the extra bells and whistles of the Fenix.
First impressions:

The Forerunner 970 with the Fenix 8 pro face is the best computer watch money can buy. It even has ambient pressure which helps me out at work. I even found a color scheme that matches the neon green strip. The flashlight is just too freaking cool. Between the phone assistant and watch assistant com

I had a Fenix 5s plus for a couple of years, but last summer i moved to a Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra.
After that i started running, and i have been missing my Garmin watch ever since.
Just got back on board with the Forerunner 970, and i freaking love the Garmin watches.
Now, i havnt run with it

Hello everyone, since many people seem to be interested in the new Venu 4 and there aren’t many user reviews yet, I thought I’d share my first impressions of this watch.
I actually downgraded from a Forerunner 970. The FR970 is a fantastic watch in itself, but I initially had a massive ghost-touch

Thought I'd share this for anyone interested.
Not seen any pictures of this comparison, for a good reason, these are in many ways to totally different watches. But here it is.
Been testing a few of the latest garmin watches (instinct 3, fenix 8, enduro 3, forerunner 970) and debating with myself

I love my new Forerunner 970 with the ultrafit wristband. I also tested the Fenix 8 and the Venu X1. But for me, the 970 is currently the most attractive and harmonious watch.

hey there lovely people,
I purchased the Fenix 8 couple of days ago and like the watch and its features very much.
However, I noticed that the Display gets sometimes really dim, especially when it’s dark outside, to the point where I can hardly read the Dial.
I know that this has been an issue
