Should I build a PC or just grab a mini PC

I just got a Geekom A5 32G. love it. The guy who invented task manager owns a Geekcom that's why I went with that brand. Check out Dave's Garage.

Any recommendations for mini pcs under $600?

Similar to Minisforum, there have been indicators that the Geekom 3-year warranty has been less than genuine, with it not being around long enough to see where people are with units 30+ months out. If it ends up being a pro rate for a newer model due to being out of stock, that's not a PC warranty.

Recommendations for a near silent mini pc?

Nice set up. I've had two Geekom A5's that were super noisy. When idle, the power light would cycle on/off. I returned the first one to Amazon and the second one, I contacted Geekom support. They were very good to my surprise. They had me update the BIOS but that did nothing so I took them up on the

Best mini pc under $450, for everyday tasks?

I've gone through three (all returned to Amazon due to various failures). These were one Beelink, and two Geekom model A5. My fourth one is a cheap $289 and so far, it's way better than the other three. I don't do gaming so this is perfectly fine for me. KAMRUI Pinova P1 Mini PC Computer, AMD Ryzen

Mini-PC: geekom. de empfehlenswert?

Nutze jetzt seit knapp einem Jahr einen Geekom A5 als Heimserver. Läuft quasi 24/7 durch und macht keine Probleme

Looking to buy a mini-PC and need some help.

Maybe a GEEKOM A5 Mini PC with AMD Ryzen 7 5825U, 16GB RAM&512GB SSD, Windows 11 PRO. They also have a three year warranty. It is a newer model that will last you for more than just two years. It also has the memory card reader on the side. They do have other models too depending on your budget.

I need help with a budget computer for my lovely mom

You can upgrade the RAM and storage in Mini-PCs now and they have come a long way. This is $439 USD and has a 3 year warranty. The Ryzen 5 is a lot faster than the 6th gen i5. https://www.amazon.com/GEEKOM-A5-Coverage-Computer-Bluetooth/dp/B0F2MCQ8XQ ...... Mobo...the motherboard is the circuit boar

Is Geekom a sketchy brand?

Yes and No My IT organization has bought many Geekom Mini PCs. The Air 12 have been pretty bad. They die randomly and won't turn back on. Something on the Mobo we tried different power supplies mind you, these were the Intel N100. They quietly changed chips to a 2022 Intel chip and didn't mention th

Looking for good hardware of Mini-PC, Debian 12, changeable SSD

We made our decision and ordered a Geekom A5 for €469. The machine is small, quiet, and almost as aesthetically pleasing as a Mac Mini. We've already found positive experiences from other users with the A5 running Linux in various forums. It seems to be stable and durable. The vendor is based in Ger

Recommendations for a near silent mini pc?

Funny that you're posting this about a Geekom. I don't have the same needs as you, but in Dec 2025 bought the A5 model from Amazon. It was quite noisy when I was using it and when it was idle, the power light would cycle on/off with yet a different more irritating noise. I didn't contact Geekom. The
