looking for best mini pcs 2026 for home office and light gaming what should i consider
Depends on your price comfort level, but there are 2 tiers in your price range. Mid-tier: GMKtec K8 Plus. With the 780M iGPU, you can play every non-AAA game at 1080p resolution. The AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS is a good CPU years after it's release in late 2023. The multi-core CPU performance is on par with

Geekom A9 Max Mini-PC im Test: Der neue Ryzen-AI-Chip bleibt hinter seinen Möglichkeiten
Thanks for the post! 32GB single channel memory with Gorgon Point Ryzen AI 400 series/Strix Point "refresh" at $1800 USD without a competitive 64GB dual channel auction seems counterproductive at this point. A matching stick of Crucial 32GB 5600 is currently pushing 400 bucks from reputable sources.

Geekom A9 Max HX 470 as my work PC that also plays Cyberpunk on weekends
There's not a big advantage here what the exception of the XDNA NPU between this and my GMKtec K8 Plus. Mine shipped with a single 32GB stick, not 2x16GB. Free slot for a cheap upgrade later, but out of the box you're running single channel. Single channel memory can easily kill processing and graph

If the base m4 mac mini can’t run good LLMs locally, why is it the one completely oos everywhere?
Even the cheapest APU mini PC you can find with HX370 and 32GB RAM is the Geekom A9 max costs $1300. Strix Halo is waaaay above that.

Have a Beelink SER5 MAX 5800H, would like to upgrade to something new for better gaming performance - what are my options?
I went to the SER8 which updated the Radeon to a Radeon 780m, which I then plugged into the TV. My kids use it to play some Steam-based games now because I replaced the SER8 with a Geekom A9 Max I was very lucky to get for $1,000. It has a Radeon 890m. It currently sells for $1399 in the U.S. Beelin

Any suggestions for an 890M equipped SFF PC?
Yeah, I have been thinking about picking up a mini pc for myself, but with the 388 on the horizon I am holding out for now - can't justifiy the price of the 395+. The Geekom A9 Mega with the 388 and 32-64 GB of Ram instead of the 395+ with 128GB for ~1200$ and not 1900-2000$ and I would be sold. Sad

Best Geekom mini PC ever? Geekom A9 Max review with AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 for $999
Its crazy you can't buy the Geekom A9 Max with 128gb of RAM. The whole selling point is that its expandable, but for whatever reason, they won't sell it to you with the machine. It sucks having to spend an extra 400 bucks to upgrade to 128gb... but its still the cheapest option I can find to run a 7
