You need certain things in a design monitor. Here's what I cared about most. Pixel type: IPS - There are VA and IPS pixel types. VA are more prone to burn in on your screen, and they are horrible for looking at unless you're dead straight on. 4k - really important if you're going for a 32"+ monitor.

The Gigabyte M32U is already really good, so upgrading isn’t about specs anymore. If you want a real upgrade, you’re basically looking at OLED or maybe mini-LED. I would say get a Gigabyte M32U 32-inch 4K monitor. I have one and it's amazing. It's unfortunately not OLED but it supports local dimming. It's 4K with HDR, supports VRR, has a refresh rate of 144 hertz which is plenty and it looks crisp. Got mine for €399 and I still love it. This is just my recom
