GPD Win 5 Undervolt Scaling and Platform Comparison

Exactly, as long as you walk up on your value iteratively you're unlikely to make things so unstable it won't boot into windows. If you do go too far, the WIN5 has a paperclip bios reset button which is handy. CPU: One of the official/semiofficial videos from GPD covered the topic leading up to laun

Got it for a secondary device until my gpdwin5 395 comes

I have both devices (among others). I like them both and still play on the xbox ally x more than i thought would. The win 5 at 17w will match or exceed the xax performance at 17w with the same settings, but the difference is so small that you probably wouldnt notice it. At low tdps say 7w for indies

Motion Assistant mod with NEW user interface!

How do you buy someone a coffee? I've seen it before on Github but can't see how to do it on this user's profile. Still waiting on my Win5 to ship, it's my first GPD device and was worried about the software side of it and almost went with the Apex for that reason. This mod looks amazing and want to

# 🎮 The GDP Win 5 Handheld Dilemma: Windows Compatibility vs. SteamOS Simplicity

I triple boot bazzite (main ssd), Windows (mini ssd), and batocera (sd card) for retro and emulation. I've a library of games via Steam, GOG, and Epic, which all work perfectly on bazzite. Windows is only used for PC management tasks like bios updates, and for if I ever want to try something on xbox

Joycon fell off any easy fixes?

Anything that has anything to do with Microsoft, I tend to steer clear from! The steam deck still is the daddy of handhelds. That said of getting a handheld pc outside of the steam deck, I'd get the GPD win5, and install bazziteOS (which is basically steamOS with more driver support) before I do any

With WASD controls coming to PC, how would you feel about Wild Rift launching on gaming handhelds like the Steam Deck?

Idk about steam deck but I use an emulator on my gpd win5 and can play wild rift relatively well. Touch screen is still my preferred method but it's another option

XG Mobile 5070TI Performance?

I can try forza horizon 5, TLOU part 2, when I get some time. And yea totally agree with you on the GPD Win 5 question. The same big question I have right now.... How worth it is the Win5 or Onexplayer Apex now if you have the XG Mobile 5070 Ti... the XG Mobile is pretty compact for what it is and i

One to rule them all?

If you want a handheld that blows away even the Legion go 2, It would be the GPD Win5. It's got the 395max CPU in it and eats Z2E chips for breakfast. It's a huge difference but, also big on price. SteamDeck I would avoid at this point, the CPU/GPU is like 6-7 years old now, it's starting to show it
