Win Mini 2025

I think you would be better off buying a GPD Win Mini.

It's a GPD Win Mini (2023)! With SteamOS 3.9 and some plugins (lsfg-vk and decky-framegen), MW5 does 70 - 120 FPS easy for around 2 hours of game time, on a device that's marginally bigger than a 3DS

The clamshell Design is the reason why I bought a GPD win mini over a steam deck. If the steam deck was clamshell I would probably have gotten it! Tho I doubt it would hold up the same performance and power of the GPD now that Ive got a taste of it and also windows which I prefer over linux. 🥲

The GPD WIN MINI 2025 is exactly what a gaming handheld should be. Small enough to bring it anywhere while powerful enough to play the latest games (within reason). The physical keyboard is also a VERY WELCOME bonus when using the device for work too.

I have gpd win 4 6800u too. Great handheld. But i am already changed battery two times and changed the thermal paste to PTM7950. It realy helps with reducing temperatures. However i changed it gpd win mini

My guy there's no miracle portable for you. You will always need to try to squeeze some frames out of a tiny box powered by a tiny battery with a tiny fan and heatsink. Or you could just settle for the frames it can do without getting into a rabbit hole of tinkering and play some games in pure bliss

i had a similar frustration when setting up my win mini 2025 ... just to be on the safe side, i did a fresh install of windows and then debloated with Talon. Then got all the windows & AMD driver updates that it needed. I got GPD firmware and software (motion assistant/gpd controller) from here: htt

To be clear, the following is all anecdotal. I have had multiple devices from each company, and I would say that they're basically equivalent. I've had (most) devices from both companies be flawless or with little inconsequential issues, and (a couple) devices with more substantial issues. Examples
