Some family member with 10hr fwh job has developed spine issues and bought the aeron...heaping praises after praises so I had always this chair in the back of my mind... My primary reasons for buying Aeron: it forces you to sit in a more upright posture which rewards your back in long sitting hours

Haworth makes some incredible chairs. I sat in their Fern model for a few days at a customer site and wept as I left 😉. Sadly no showrooms in Oregon that I know of.

Invest in a good quality chair. I have a Haworth Fern and it’s so much better than any OfficeMax special I’ve had in the past.

I have the Haworth Fern that I bought refurbished for $800. Worth every penny. I went to a store that sold refurbished high end office equipment intending to buy a Steelcase, but the Fern was much more comfortable. I love that the seat tilts down which helps my circulation.
