Ignition 2.0

Hon is pretty good. They have options at most price points. I have the Ignition 2.0 and it’s around your price point. I’ve been mostly happy with it. It’s no Steelcase or Herman-Miller, but it does the job well for the price.

In 2021 I got a used Hon Ignition v2 for $150 at a local office furniture dealer. Still in great shape.

i tried one of those cheap $250 chairs, lasted like 3 months before the base bent, got a hon ignition from an office sale for cheap, heavy but solid, def worth it

check out the Steelcase Series 1 or the HON Ignition 2 0. Both are built well and can take a beating without falling apart after a bit.
