Are there no lightweights with 13" OLED and AI 350 (or equivalent)?

HP OmniBook 7 Aero are 13" and roughly the same weight. IPS screen though. Also in spite of the sub you can always look at Intel laptops which have more options in the ultralight segment.

Laptop advise

I'm not blown away by either option. Consumer HP hardware like that OmniBook 7 Aero generally doesn't offer the best build quality. On the other hand, The Surface Laptop (and the entire Surface product line for that matter) is e-waste designed to be a non-functional, aesthetically pleasing paperweig

Best laptop under €700?

feel free to DM, but you can get a HP Omnibook in Currys for 599, 16/512 which is decent and will have all the ram and storage you'll probably need. https://www.currys.ie/products/hp-omnibook-7-aero-ngai-13.3-laptop-amd-ryzen-ai-5-512-gb-ssd-glacier-silver-10281487.html The most popular in that pric

Laptop for my 65 year old father

Seriously? I don’t see any complete Framework laptop $800 or less even used on EBay. You pay a big premium for all that upgradability and the replacement parts are expensive. Sure, if OP has $2k or more to spend newish, or $1500 or more to spend starting used, then OP could consider Framework. As to

Confused as to which one to buy among the two

I have used LOQ, ROG Strix (2021 version) and Dell G15, my laptop is HP Omni book 7 Aero. Imo if you are not used to 100 sRGB, get the Dell, because you can easily get a better monitor later but not better performance. 45NTSC is not as bad as some western redditors says- only if you are not used to

Which laptop is best for a student entering college(engg) to learn and build mid- to large-scale AI/ML models?

Coming in as someone who's used both Mac and Windows for real ML work in college, your questions are spot on before dropping that kind of cash. PyTorch MPS on Apple Silicon is solid now. The M4 Pro does great with inference and quantized LLMs. A 48GB unified memory config often gives more usable spa

Can you please help me get out of my comfort zone?

I am a user of Hp envy 13 for 7 years and that thing is durable. Dropped it to a hard concrete once and it still runs well. It has metal frame and case so it's pretty good. I'm shopping for a new laptop too recently and have a chance to held HP Omnibook 7 Aero in my hand, and it has similar build wi

Do you guys think that this HP Omnibook Aero 7 a better option than Macbook Neo?

How is this even a comparison. The HP Omnibook 7 Aero 13 ofcourse. The MacBook Neo is multiple levels lower end. People just stare blindly on a fast ARM based chip, while CPU power hasn't really been a constraint in any reasonable laptop released in the past 5 years.
