Abysmal performance eGPU &XT9070
Tbf I’d ignore the dudes saying your specs can’t hold up to this. I have an HP Spectre x360 13.5” with a weaker CPU than yours (i7-1165G7, lower TDP than yours) paired with an RTX 3070 and a Razer Core X which has the old TB3 eGPU chip. The game runs fine as is, and I can even run at 4K with setting

Any other touchscreen laptops with discrete GPU?
There's a version of Spectre x360 with RTX 4050. But I'd probably rather look for something with Core Ultra X. Those have an iGPU so beefy it should be on very similar level to 4050 dGPU. Also depending on what games you play, you might not even need that.I have an Omnibook Ultra Flip 14" with Core

I have a chromecast with 4K but it lags and games are unplayable. My TV is hisense and the hdmi port I use is capped at 4k@60hz. However, for the stream I use 720p@60hz, even with bitrate as low 10. Do anyone have success using this device?
Nope. However I tried a spectre x360 and that worked flawlessly so it is definitely the chromecast. My plan is to try a different host, maybe sunshine and see if it improves.

Spectre x360 16 2024 worth buying in 2026?
Mine works great, but take some considerations: Remember it's not a gaming PC. The Nvidia GPU is capped to 55W. The Nvidia GPU is probably more thought for CUDA rendering. Tablet mode is seldom used, but it'd be my choice for playing point and click games. It uses N-Trig digitizer technology, which

What high end Windows laptop are you using with reliability?
HP Spectre x360 32gb I tried Dell, Lenovo, even Asus… This one is the most reliable and it came with 2yrs on-site pickup and repair warranty. Zero overheating nor graphic issues (specially if you use this Perfect Power Profile plan posted on its sub, to avoid any throttling and enhance battery longe

Do NOT purchase an HP-Spectre x360
I used my Spectre x360 15.6" with integrated graphics through all of college. Even did some light video editing with Premiere. It worked great and still does. Edit: I also spilled beer on the keyboard April of freshman year. It miraculously survived and nothing was damaged. Wow.

Looking for an absolute beast
My bet would be on something like the HP Spectre x360 16-F2023DX, just because it features a large 16 Inch OLED Display that is also touch compatible, it also features a later processor which would be perfect for your needs and it also has a inbuilt Graphics Card, the HP Spectre has a good reputatio
