Apple Says 11-Inch MacBook Air and Two Other Macs Are Now Obsolete
8-10 years out of a laptop is still quite incredible. My HP spectre x360 had a screen failure within a year, warrantied, same screen failure within a year. Within 2 years it’s slow and sluggish.

Dell managed to acknowledge their error in abandoning XPS, with a comeback. When will HP do the same with the Spectre x360 line?
I've owned about 5 spectre x360s over the last 10 years...I have zero interest in buying and omnibook, they have no soul ha ha bring back the spectre x360!

Even the last spectre x360 was disappointing to me. Bring back the gem-cut corners!

Real talk: The "hidden" issues with Snapdragon X laptops that still aren't fixed in 2026
NAPS2 is also great for scanning, though its compression isn't as good as Epson's and probably other manufacturers'. TWAIN drivers work on ARM64, if you can install them. For one of my scanners, I can only install the drivers if I disable driver signature enforcement - an annoyance we can thank Micr

Abysmal performance eGPU &XT9070
Tbf I’d ignore the dudes saying your specs can’t hold up to this. I have an HP Spectre x360 13.5” with a weaker CPU than yours (i7-1165G7, lower TDP than yours) paired with an RTX 3070 and a Razer Core X which has the old TB3 eGPU chip. The game runs fine as is, and I can even run at 4K with setting

Need to buy a new laptop. Suggestions?
MacBook is ideal based on what you’ve described but since you specifically requested for windows: HP Spectre x360 is amazing A bit cheaper is dell Inspiron 14 2 in 1 Based on personal use and past experience, both of these are compact, fast, easy to travel with, and touch screen. Great for everyday

Best laptop for heavy Excel use?
Increasing your hardware is a linear solution. That is, if you double the hardware you will halve the calculation time (It’s more complicated than that, but the concept holds). If you learn better ways to handle data, then you will see multiplicative gains. If you fix your systems, you will see an e

Mechanical or Haptic Trackpad?
from what i've seen in reviews, the omnibook x 14 uses a mechanical trackpad with a physical click. haptic trackpads are mostly on hp's spectre and dragonfly lines. if you really want haptic feedback, the hp spectre x360 14 has the force pad which feels way smoother. but for the omnibook itself, def
