i feel you on the plastic cracking thing. had three headsets die that exact way before i switched. hyperx cloud ii is actually known for lasting forever - metal yokes and aluminum frame. been using mine for four years now and it still feels solid. cloud iii is newer so not as proven yet. also check

HyperX Cloud II is overrated.

I got mine 3 years ago and they are amazing. No idea why everyone think they are bad.

Tudnátok ajánlani jó gamer fejhallgatót?

En a HyperX Cloud 2-t nyúzom legalabb 3 éve, a Cloud III-al nem fogsz melle nyúlni :)

Need help with birthday headset please

If you want a gaming headset, IMHO, the best option is a HyperX Cloud II. I'm on my second set across over a decade and they are by far my favorite. Super comfortable, decent sound. I like Razer for the Blade (I know...but I like mine), and for keyboards, but don't use them for anything else.

[LFH][PC][50€-100€] need help finding a good fps headset

for large head and glasses, stay away from razer, they run narrow. at 50-100€, look at HyperX Cloud Stinger Core - it's around 50€, super flexible, and the padding doesn't crush glasses. also Corsair HS35 is solid for fps, good soundstage for valorant footsteps. avoid the hyperx cloud ii, it's tight

Advice to replace my old Kingstone Cloud 2's?

I had the Kingston Cloud II too until a few months ago and ended up replacing it with an HP Cloud III. A friend of mine was skeptical too at first because the HyperX brand was bought by HP, but I can assure you that there's nothing to be worried about. I don't use the included USB sound card though.

What do I do? They're out of warranty :( Cloud 3

I had the same issue with Cloud II headsets I bought some years ago, they were less than a year old and I handled them with care. That plastic hinge cracked then the whole right speaker fell off and made them unusable. I ordered spare parts from AliExpress to fix them. It worked well for a while but
