Update headset within beta app, then download Revo uninstaller and get rid of the beta, it's bloatware and you'll get worse audio quality and a quieter microphone. After Revo uninstalling the beta, use the regular ngenuity app and download DTS unbound from Windows store, be sure to select 3s wireles

Cloud III or Cloud II?

I was wanting to upgrade my cloud 2 to cloud 3 to get wireless. Don’t bother, cloud 3s aren’t good. Ironically, the default mic in the cloud 2s is good, but the sound card basically filters/bottle necks what I assume is the sound data and makes it awful. More to my point, don’t bother with hyperx, s

Looking for suggestions for new headset

Best Buy and target should have display models out of at least some of the more popular headsets. I definitely recommend trying some on in person if you can since the comfort part can be somewhat subjective. I find hyperx to be the most comfortable brand by a long shot and ended up getting the cloud

Best/Good Brands of Headset Best for Gaming?

Don't get that, it's a very good headset, I have it, but it's ment for entry audiophile experience, plus there is no mic, I recommend something like hyper x cloud 3s.

Looking for a CS2 headset upgrade

Hyper x cxloud3 are regularly on sale for like $60. It's genuinely a great deal and one of the few headsets I can wear for hours on end without any fatigue. I also bought the Cloud 3s wireless and they are incredible as well. Sound a tad better than the wired to me but the mic is not as good. Batter

Best upgrade from Cloud 2?

Cloud 3s wireless may be the best HyperX has to offer imo, you just get it all; wireless, battery life, very solid audio quality, a workable mic for casual playing, chatting or work and top notch comfort
