I have been using the hyper x cloud iii wired since July 2025 (10 months ago) and I haven’t had any issues so far The mic quality is very good when I game with my friends I have one of the best mics I like the mute button and led that lets me know I’m muted, it’s very cool and practical, always use

Looking for suggestions for new headset
Best Buy and target should have display models out of at least some of the more popular headsets. I definitely recommend trying some on in person if you can since the comfort part can be somewhat subjective. I find hyperx to be the most comfortable brand by a long shot and ended up getting the cloud

Don't get that, it's a very good headset, I have it, but it's ment for entry audiophile experience, plus there is no mic, I recommend something like hyper x cloud 3s.

Looking for a CS2 headset upgrade
Hyper x cxloud3 are regularly on sale for like $60. It's genuinely a great deal and one of the few headsets I can wear for hours on end without any fatigue. I also bought the Cloud 3s wireless and they are incredible as well. Sound a tad better than the wired to me but the mic is not as good. Batter

Best upgrade from Cloud 2?
Cloud 3s wireless may be the best HyperX has to offer imo, you just get it all; wireless, battery life, very solid audio quality, a workable mic for casual playing, chatting or work and top notch comfort

How much did your setup cost?
Everyone is different, but here is mine for reference: $2000 USD PC, $70 Keyboard, $40 Mouse, $50 Mousepad, $150 Monitor, $7 headset stand, $30 Monitor arm, $10 Clock. $120 Headset Total: $2467 Additionally, soon i will buy a monitor light bar ($30), a 1440p webcam ($50), and speakers ($40).
