GO Ultra

Why did insta360 go with a proprietary 2-Prong Adapter Quick Release Mount for the Ultra from the Go 3/s Quick Release Mount that also includes a 1/4 thread. Existing owners of Go 3/s models will now need to consider another set of mounts.

I came across a video on YouTube recorded with the new Insta360 Go Ultra camera and most of the comments are positive for the quality of the video and the new camera in general. But this shot caught my eye and I can't believe that no one saw this amount of chromatic aberration.

Just got mine - im going to take it fishing this weekend to try it out. Two quick gripes already though - why, for the love of god, do we have ANOTHER different "quick release" mounting standard? Neither the Go3s or the AcePro2 quick release plates fit it. This is an annoying money grab by Insta360

less expensive than the Insta360 Go Ultra and the problem is the price?

i think this probably be a issue for me because i live in southeast asia, even nighttime makes you sweat here, so shooting in 4k in daytime really heats up the camera for me, it's still not as bad as the overheating with insta360 go ultra
