Best Camera for Commuting
Cycliq is the gold standard bicycle "dash camera" I use an insta360 X5 on my front handlebars. It does OK but I block the rear view so if something happens behind me I don't see it. The quality deteriorates when things are farther away. During the summer if they cars are close I can get plates. As w

Reccs for a good bike cam
If you're looking for a "dashcam" for the bike I hear Cycliq is the gold standard. Action camera wise you can get wide angle single PoV cameras like GoPro, DJI, Insta360 etc. You can also get 360 degree cameras from the above brands. Disadvantage to action cameras and 360 cameras are the wide field

What kind of cameras do you use on your bikes?
I have a Insta360 X5 for my road bike and a GoPro Hero 10 for my gravel bike but I don’t consider either of these “dash cams”. I usually only flip them on when I come to a part of my route where I think it might be a memorable segment to capture. For a dashcam like camera I think you’re going to see

Little Rattled….
I haven't found the perfect thing yet, but here's my experience so far. I found inexpensive action cams from Amazon were completely disappointing - no sound when in the waterproof cases and no weather protection without the case, poor battery life with easy to lose covers and the image stabilization

For those who use a POV camera...
IMO a 360 camera is the only option, like others have said. The 2 ones worth considering are the insta360 x5 and the GoPro Max 2. I got both to test out and see which I liked more. Here’s my experience as someone that comes from a professional video background: Insta360 X5 Pros Objectively better im

Chico State Grad, Humble Brewing Co-Founder Nick Pavlina On His Time in Chico
Hey there! Thanks so much for this - I totally agree. The goal is to eventually move to a multi-camera setup, as budget allows. We've been shooting on an Insta360 X5, which is neat because you can sort of mimic a multi-camera and get different angles out of the same shot, and we incorporated that in

Looking for an X5 frame/cage that works with quick release and horizontal mounts
This is what I use for both of my Motorcycles. The quick releases are usually compatible with the cage. I strongly advise that you don't use the Quick Release for your cage / X5 if it's on your motorcycle or bike. Even Insta360 doesn't recommend it.

360 or body mount camera for road cycling?
I’ve been working on photo and video productions for motorcycle brands for more than 12 years and recently started filming my rides. Here is my take on it: For standard POVs a neck mount (like the one from Telesin) is the best mounting option in my opinion. Lighter and better angle than a chesty or

Help please!
Well, right now, 360 "pocket" cameras available on the market are: Insta360 X5, DJI Osmo 360, GoPro Max 2 and Kandao Qoocam 3 Ultra. By model, my experience with them, which is not a complete "review" nor a professional one, just "my" own opinion. I'll consider you're a beginner in video edition so
