Connect faster & easier with new Proton VPN apps on Windows, iOS, and Android!

Still no IPv6 and Secure DNS support on Windows and iOS. Also a latency indicator would be nice, like IVPN and Windscribe do

Would anyone else that uses Mullvad + Tailscale use this? Worth openning a PR to get this implementation in?

Tailscale and Mullvad both use wiregaurd protocols and issues arise if you try to run two at the same time as one will always supercede the other; you could get through this issue by just using IVPN or any OpenVpn protocol with Tailscale, but that's a bit rather inconvenient for some who primarily j

I can't update Flatpak fully due to internet issues. A VPN might work. Is there a good VPN for Linux Mint?

IMO Mullvad is the best for Mint. The ProtonVPN Linux app still sucks. I've heard iVPN are also good, but never tried them. You can download the app as a .deb file from their website.

modDNS beta launch - Audited, open-source DNS filtering service by IVPN

Great news! I've been hoping for an alternative to NextDNS and Controld. Will this service be free for IVPN Pro users and will it be integrated with IVPN in the future?

VPN Choices?

I used Mullvad and IVPN. Both work well and are easy to install & update, which is important to me as I use Linux and am not a Linux Pro. They both claim to not keep logs. Ivpn was a little quicker.

Why do I have to provide a server IP in order to use custom DoH or DoT?

Thank you for explaining. My knowledge in this area is limited. In this case, the IP address will allow IVPN to reach the server, but how does the URI come in to play thereafter? I am using Adguard's premium DNS plan, which provides device-specific query logs and custom rules. My DoH or DoT URI is c

Pros and cons of Proton ecosystem

Filen for cloud. Which is really good (and it's literally two clicks to set up a local mount on Linux). I got 100gb for 40 euros lifetime. The only downside being the lack of integrated office suite (so I have Murena as a secondary cloud provider as they have an OnlyOffice integration). For mail I u

jährliches Sicherheitsaudit mit Cure53 für 2025

I don’t think support got it quite right, My guess based on what I can gleam off Github development and some things the team said is, they focused on auditing DNS in large part because of PortMaster. Seems like IVPN miscalculated the availability of current Android framework to expand on Custom DNS,

Switching from ProtonVPN to Windscribe: Some of My Experiences

Nah by far not , windscribe got a better killswitch , better filtering , supports streaming , got less everyday issues , way faster reaction on blocks. Easier to Contact employees. Smarter choice in upgrades of their protocols and more of them , cheaper , and no weird conflicting pseudo rules also o

Non-nerd w/Mac: Needing help installing NordLynx VPN client on FGWSE

its much easier with apps like Proton, Windscribe, Mullivad, IVPN, OVPN, and others. the easiest way is probably for you to create a config file on their website/configuration tool, then you import that into your firewalla. lots of articles on the firewalla website spelling that out for you step by
